EatingWA Heads to Mash Brewing
"For main I ordered the lamb cutlets with roasted vegetables and caramelised beetroot jus. I’m really glad I was able to taste this dish, as it really stood out for me. This dish is a great ‘anytime meal’, and consisted of perfectly cooked, and juicy lamb cutlets, the right amount of (stacked) roast vegetables with a tasty beetroot jus. The vegetables matched nicely with the lamb and the slightly sweet, caramelised beetroot jus, so overall it was a well-balanced dish. (Everyone at the table voted my lamb as the best main!)"

"Has Nine really been around for four years? From those I’ve asked, I’ve heard nothing but praise for this inner-city restaurant so when we finally found an opportunity to eat at this modern Japanese diner and to make the occasion - and because it goes so well with the food - brought along a bottle of the under appreciated and well-priced Nicolas Feuillatte with us."
"Like many contemporary Japanese eateries, Nine’s decor is minimal, but still maintains an air of sophistication with enough personality, warmth and (most importantly) wood to avoid that cold and clinical Neo-Tokyoism I love in Japanese anime, but not restaurants."

Mille Cafe by Carole
"We ordered Garlic bread for starters and decided on just main meals (no entrees for tonight). I ordered the Australiasian Beef Stir Fry ($23.50), hubbie ordered, Pan-roasted Chicken Breast with Beetroot Risotto ($27.00), son decided on the Fetticine with Meatballs ($19.50), daughter chose a Chicken Caesar Salad ($19.50) and our friend liked the sound of the Smoked Salmon Salad ($21.50). All meals arrived pretty much together which was good. The first thing we all commented on was how BIG the portions of each meal were. The plates were enormous and so were the contents served on them. We started with such gusto, tucking hungrily into our meals, but it wasn't long before we each realised it wasn't going to be easy finishing every morsel. The meals themselves were delicious just really too big in size!"
