Came here with 2 gfs for a catch-up. We planned ahead and skipped dinner for the ultimate sickly sweet chocolate experience. I'm glad I did. We ordered the fondue for two and the tapas plate. With the F42 we chose a milk choc dipping choc, with the tapas we chose white choc ice-cream and dark choc dipping sauce, and got to choose 2 truffles as well. F42 came with bananas, strawberries, churros, marshmallows, hedgehod slice, peanuts, pretzels, caramel popcorn etc etc. The tapas had strawberries, hedgehog slice, 2 truffles, churros, marshmallows etc etc. Both were amazing!! We also ordered 2 Spanish hot chocs, made with condensed milk, and a latte. The hot chocs were so rich, I couldn't finish mine cause I'm weak!

Prompt cafe style service. The waiter repeated our order back a few times and was patient when we had to decide on choc types etc. Great service actually, the drinks came out promptly and the desserts soon after. The waiter commented that we didn't have to eat it all. Pfft! We showed him!

Went on a wed night, busy little cafe, we sat in a corner. There were comfy couches and booth-style seating also. The restaurant has lovely dark wood floorboards and caramel popcorn painted walls. I also loved the little Jesus guy on the cups and napkins!

Overall:
The bad thing about the fondue is there was no candle underneath so the choc didnt stay liquid, not that we let it have a chance cause we scoffed it all anyway! But otherwise I'd happily skip dinner to go there again. Maybe I'll just have a coffee next time though...!

My partner and I had the churros to share, which were delicious. The churros themselves are a little bland, but this is probably a good thing since with the dipping sauce they are quite rich. I had the hot chocolate and my partner had the Azteca, which is hot chocolate with chilli, and is apparently very spicy. Being a chocolateria, the food is obviously not for those lacking a sweet tooth. The extra-rich food and drink proved too much for us, as we could not finish our (nevertheless tasty) hot chocolates.

The service was fast and friendly.

We went on a crowded Saturday night and still found it quite spacious and welcoming. The decor is eclectic, but seems to keep with the spanish/mexican theme.

Overall:
This is a wonderful place for an indulgent dessert. I am looking forward to returning there again to sample the other drinks and desserts.

We had a single serve of churro's with melted milk chocolate and a classic hot chocolate - very rich but totally gorgeous!!!!! This rounded off a nice meal next door brilliantly.

The place was packed on a Friday night, but the staff managed it well. Apart from having to stand in line for a while, our food & drink came out really rather quickly

Ambience:

Very busy and very noisy! We would have liked to have sat outside but there weren't any free tables so we sat inside with a bunch of young girls who were obviously having a great (and loud) time.

Overall:
I don't eat a lot of chocolate - but when I do, I like to eat the good stuff....and this is good stuff. I'm not 100% sure on the attraction to churro's as they don't have any taste to me, but the chocolate is worth the trip!

Great selection of Spanish desserts. Churros are awesome. I had the Spanish Latte - a coffee with sweetened condensed milk in it..really nice and not what I expected.

Service:

Prompt and friendly. The owner did the rounds chatting with each table and seeing how everything was.

Nice feel to the place. Looks a bit 'Coffee Club-esq' but as it is a franchise, I expected this.

Overall:
As a kid, when ever we went to Melbourne my parents would drag me along to the Queen Vic Markets. One of my highlights was the old Churros van...always a favourite. Then a place opened near me in Sydney and it was great!! Since moving to Perth I hadn't found anywhere here....until now. Churros are awesome....really food for the soul!
