Had lunch and ordered the Pasta of the day (salmon and capers in a cream sauce) which came with the salad bar. The pasta was nice but nothing out of the ordinary that would make you come back or provided a competitive edge when comparing price and quality of the many other restaurants in Perth that serves pasta. There wasn't much choice on the salad bar table but it basically had Cos lettuce with bacon Parmesan and dressing on the side, coleslaw, an artichoke salad, olives, fetta, bread rolls and a few other bits and pieces. Please be warned however that the soup which sat on the salad bar table is actually NOT included, I found out the unfortunate way when it came to paying the bill. Also note that this place doesn't serve tap water.
We were served quite promptly and had water glasses filled up throughout the meal. The staff member that attended to our bill however, made any future thought of coming back disappear I assume the attitude was due to me questioning the soup I was charged but I do believe I have the right to ask.
Its a pub on one side and quite dark lighting on the inside.
Overall:
Its quite pricey for what it is including the steaks which I've had in the past.
Overall:
The best chips in town! With a delicious crust and the steak sandwiches are terrific as well - yummi. Good value for money.

I was here a couple of weeks ago for lunch during a seminar. They make a nice steak despite the fact that their pepper sauce takes very much like mushroom sauce (waitress messed up my order). One may gather one's own salad from the buffet to accompany the main. Alas the choice of sauces is a bit limiting. What do you mean you don’t have Thousand Island dressing? The French dressing I ended with was sour and thick - perhaps the chef confused sour cream with cream. Overall (salad aside) the food was quite good.
You can grab a pint while sitting in the pub-like atmosphere. The one downside to this place, if you care about ambience, is that it’s underground, so no peering outside and watching shoppers and business folks rush by. It’s kind of like eating in a cave. Not that this worries me.
