Great little local Vietnamese place that services up constant good grub
Very straight forward Vietnamese local staff that do their very best
Very simple, but you get what you pay for.
Overall:
Probably eat here once a fortnight! love the place. Cheap and tasty. Recommended for a local bite to eat with Family and Friends.

I attended this restaurant on a Monday night for dinner. I had heard some good things about it over the years and thought it would be worth a try.
The set up is old school asian which is fine, the restuarant was clean and quiet which makes a nice change from some of the places you go.
Food was a little disappointing as it is very basic, and didn't appear to be as fresh as what it could be.
It is a cheap night out and the service is good, however I didn't find the food to be bursting with flavour. I have had better Vietnamese in Perth.
A little disappointing.
Overall:
Anna Vietnamese was busy on a weeknight for dinner, but we had no trouble getting a table. Service was quite good, although at times they seemed to be understaffed. For entree we had rice paper rolls, spring rolls and chicken satays. Very average. For mains I tried one of their specialities, cinnamon chicken.
I found it to be very bland, so much so that it was unsatisfying. My partner ordered a common meat dish, I can't remember what it was but it was nice, nothing special. I really liked the batter used on their fried ice cream, very coconutty and delicious. As others have said, if this was our neighbourhood asian restaurant we would return to try a few more dishes but it's not worth making a trip to especially.
Overall:
This place has been going for donkey's years. It's still run by the same family, and their spring rolls are still among the best in Perth (IMHO).
Decor is totally daggy - check out the waterfall picture at the back of the restaurant.
Best dishes feature in their specials menu. Some of my favs include spring rolls, ginger beef, cinnamon chicken, pork chops. Some of the other more standard Viet dishes (like lemongrass pork etc) are a bit average - just OK sauces and too much onion!
Prices are very reasonable - this place is BYO, cheap and cheerful.
Overall:
Always a favourite staple of our Perth dining rounds. Always busy and bustling. Food is well priced and consistently delicious.
Stuffed chicken wings are to die for. Try the cinnamon chicken for something different.
Not the place for an intimate date or those who are hard of hearing, but a great place for a large group of mates and a top meal before a night out in Leederville.
Overall:
Dined at Anna Vietnamese Restaurant with 5 other people so we got to sample a number of dishes. Most of them were fine but not outstanding, with the exception being the honey prawn dish which we ordered a second serve of. Servings were on the small side, service was just adequate, and the acoustics were quite loud. If it were my neighborhood restaurant I'd probably go back and try a few other dishes, but since it's not I'll probably not repeat the visit.
Overall:
I've been to Anna's several times. I go because the Ginger Beef is fantastic. It's like none that I have had at any other restaurant. It is simple and light. Very savoury with a hint of sweetness topped off with crunchy peanuts. And one time, the Cinnamon Chicken was very good too. But then I've ordered it for take-away and it is not.
Service is fine. Ambiance is not special. Needs some updating. I like that the lighting is dim. Many Asian restaurants, I feel, are just too bright.
I agree with the last reviewer about many reviews being written much too generously. I find it very difficult to find any honest food reviews in Perth. Most are written (including the ones in the newspapers) as travelogues without any real commentary about the food. It is about time Perth got competitive about dining. There are too many below average/discounted restaurants in Perth. Perth has so much to offer. It's time it became more inspiring, creative and innovative.
Overall:
Prices are so cheap for the quality of food they serve. I've eaten there many times and my favourite dishes are Salt and Pepper Squid, Lemongrass Chicken, Lamb Curry (Special) and Rice paper rolls.
