To start, we ordered a bruschetta. I have to admit, it was the best Bruschetta we have ever had. The ingredients were fresh, and it was a simple, tasty dish that was a perfect way to start our meal. However, our mains were terrible. We ordered the scotch fillet and the salmon. The steak was fatty and tasted a bit odd. I requested that the salmon be cooked through however it was pink and raw throughout with a mushy texture.
We found the service to be excellent. The waitresses were attentive, efficient and pleasant.
Not too bad, being a chilly evening, it was slightly drafty but the clientelle were fine.
Overall:
I wouldn't go back to Barchetta based on the experience with the food. It's a shame, because the staff, the location and the view are fantastic.
