Overall:
When my fiance and I arrived the staff were very friendly, we were directed to a table in the wine cellar where the mood was extremely romantic with the glow of candles however we didn't order any wine because we had just shared a bottle of bubbly which came with the hotel and dinner package, this was fine and the nice young lady joined in the humour. There was a wait but this is to be expected when a chef is working on perfection because this meal was the best restaurant meal we had ever eaten. The mashed potato with a light drizzle of creamy mushroom sauce was a taste which I have not forgotten. We will be going there again for our honeymoon meal.
Overall:
I took my husband there for dinner on a Friday night as it was the place that we had gone to on our first date. The setting is very romantic - dimly lit and the sound of water from their water features just sets the mood. It was a busy night but that didn't stop the service from being excellent. Also, the entertainment was superb - a young lady singing - you just couldn't fault her voice. We ordered the chilli mussels to share for starters and they were good - although not much chilli in them. I ordered the chicken which was stuffed with spinach and cheese, served with a tomato chilli jam. The chicken was cooked perfectly - very tender, however it wasn't exactly to my tastebuds. It was served on a tomato lentil mash which wasn't really to my liking, but it mustn't have been that bad because I ate it all. My husband ordered the surf and turf which I had a taste of and it was divine! The steak was cooked perfectly. We both decided we wanted dessert (just didn't want to leave the excellent entertainment) so I ordered the meringue with fresh fruit. The meringue was over-cooked which made it rather difficult to cut as it was so hard. My husband ordered the sticky date pudding with ice-cream and it was glorious. Looks like I just had a bad run on the food side that night but at least my partner had a nice meal.

My partner, a friend and I visited this restaurant last year. I've got to say that I couldn't fault them. We went for dinner, it was just perfect! The service was spot on - we were served our drinks immediately and at the end of the night the manager asked us personally if we were happy with the meal. Will be going again.
Overall:
Went yesterday with my friend for dinner. Parking was ok as its just across the road from a parking lot (fee applies). The place was ok, got a nice fountain on the right hand side as you walk through the dinner table. The place was busy and was very noisy. I found it difficult to talk with my friend so I moved my chair next to her rather than across the table from her. I was told by the manager that I have to go back to the original position of my chair as I was blocking the way. I said that it was far too noisy that I can't even have a conversation. The music was turned down finally and I was able to chat to my friend. Water was not offered or served straight away and we had to ask for them. After 20 mins, we were not attended by the staff at all to get our order that we had to get their attention. When they asked to get our order finally for our drinks, it took another almost half an hour before our drinks arrived. Our food finally came after another half an hour. For entree, we had Turkish bread with dips and that was ok. My friend had Italian bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The Italian bread was old bread. My friend and I decided to order the barramundi with potatoes and greens. The main course was lovely. Fish cooked right and vegies was also cooked well, not over nor undercooked. After the main meal, a nice staff member approached us for deserts. We had cappuccino and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate did not taste very good considering its an Italian Restaurant. I ordered the Tiramisu for desert and my friend the lemon meringue. The Tiramisu cake was nice but it seemed like old stock. At the end, the staff were very courteous and friendly to us, was a bonus using the Entertainment card and they don't mark the card so we can use them again. Overall. it was an OK experience, main meal was good but I feel that this should not be listed in the fine dining list in the ent. card book.
Overall:
Went for dinner last night, waited for quite a while before our orders were taken, even though only 5 tables were in use.
Entree left a lot to be desired both in food and presentation; however we were more than satisfied by our main courses. Partner had Chicken Kiev, which included Garlic Prawns in a plumb sauce, i had Chicken and Snow Pea Fettuccine, which the waiter advised included broccoli, however none to be seen.
Didn’t approve of chefs constantly in bar area near where we were sitting, nor of their swearing in the kitchen which could be heard.
All in all, i would probably go again, in hope of better service, because we were genuinely pleased with the meals.
Overall:
I went to Barocco Italian Restaurant for Valentines Day in the last year and I was expecting more when I went there. It was a buffet for 2 package with drinks and the food was just average, not value for money, not much selection for what we paid for. Being Valentines Day, there were couple tables and it was so squashed up. There was not enough room from table to table.
I don't think I will go there again, not until they change it a bit.
