- was superb with plenty of variety. great choice from the starter menu right through to the dessert menu. Food was delivered promptly with no mistakes. From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel welcome and were surrounded by the beautiful smell of what was to come. We were sure not disappointed.

- This was a lovely surprise. If it hadn't of been for the entertainment book we would never have found it as it is tucked away in a residential area. Have been dining out as a group at the end of each month for over 10 years now and must say this is a restaurant we will surely revisit and introduce our friends to.

- Four of us went to B & T on a Friday night. The food was gorgeous - I had the best piece of snapper I've eaten for a long time. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes & broccolini accompanied by a delicious burnt butter, chilli & parsley sauce. My partner chose the fillet of beef with a pepper sauce and it arrived thick, juicy and cooked exactly as he'd ordered. The pepper sauce was excellent. Our friends chose the lamb (in a rich tomato and mushroom braise - it fell off the bone) and pork medallions in an orange glaze. We only had the garlic bread to start - but that too was pretty special. We all had a creme brulee for dessert - with the exception of my partner who had the tiramisu. Perfect!

- Not terrifically quick - but the wait staff were friendly and helpful. We were there to catch up with our friends and we were able to do that without interruption every 5 minutes. Our young Scottish wait lady had an enviable personality!

- My partner made the comment that the restaurant could do with some music - we sat in the alfresco area and music would have added to the pleasant atmosphere. It was a little quiet - but overall the feeling is light, airy and pleasurable.

- Friends recommended us and we weren't disappointed. It's a great little local restaurant with dedicated staff who really want to make it work. We got to chatting with a couple of them as we paid our bill and they are passionate about the place. We recommended that they introduce music as soon as poss (my husband even offered to install the speakers)! Other than that - pretty near perfect! Looking back on a previous review I had to wonder if we were even in the same restaurant.

- My husband and I went there on a saturday night. Upon arrival we were told that as they were full that night, we would be seated outside near the pond. Well, we were more or less sitting in the pond! The food was awfull! We both had the prawns for entrees, which arrived cold! It then took exactly 1 hour to get our main meals which was cold, un-tasty and pretty ordinary. My husband had the meat balls and i had the lamb. We haven't had such bad food anywhere in Perth for many many many many years!

- The service was quite ordinary. We had just been seated that we were asked if we were ready to order! We asked for a few more minutes but i think that it was a mistake as we were left with our empty entree plates for 1 hour before we got our main meals.

- First, that restaurant pretends to be modern Australian...well i'm sorry but it is not! It is a cheap Italian restaurant! And i need to say that for what we ate it wasn't cheap at all!!!!I don't know what the reviews i had read were all about but, it is quite disappointing! We certainly won't go back there or recommend that restaurant! It make me wonder about people that write those reviews!

The starter menu was a little limited, however the garlic bread we chose was exactly right. Many restaurants tend to overdo garlic bread but this was perfect. The main courses for 2 adults and 1 child were delicious. I ordered lamb with garlicy mash and veggies and it just fell off the bone. My husband's steak was cooked exactly the way he asked for and my child's pasta was delicious. The portions were just right and my only niggle was that we both would have liked just a tiny bit more jus/sauce. However it certainly didn't detract from the food in any way at all. I had creme brulee for dessert which was superb and child had a chocolate cake/mousse with cream and raspberry coulis.

- Excellent. The lovely waiter with the eye opening purpley red hair was fantastic. Welcoming, knowledgable about the dishes and proactive. The wine bucket was brought to the table right away for BYO wine, glasses removed if not being used. Food and drinks were served promptly.

- We understand that the restaurant has had a makeover recently. It has a really lovely atmosphere with basic white, red and green decor. Loved the modern art on the wall. There is a lovely outdoor eating area and customers are seated outside first if they wish. The water feature is a great touch.

- The al-fresco area is lovely, with a great casual vibe. In summer, it's a good spot for an early evening meal with a few glasses of wine. Inside is quirky and arty, with a sexy ribbon painted on the wall, and poppies painted on tables.

- On a cold saturday morning, my partner, son and I decided to try this restaurant for brunch.. I saw it advertised in our local paper as having the best eggs benedict, which is my fave, so I wanted to test their version. We arrived to find a friendly waitress (who was very accommodating with my questions and requests on the phone) who let us choose a table and grabbed some papers/mags for us. She was so genuine and seemed like she loved being there and wanted to ensure we were looked after. I ordered my eggs, my boyfriend had the all day brekky and my son (9yr old) wanted his fave, pancakes (which by the way was not on the menu, but nothing seemed too hard to conjure from the kitchen). She suggested bacon with them, which he was impressed with, as they are his 2 most favourite foods. The food presented, was of good size, fresh, seemingly made with love (which I think is the essence to cooking good food). My eggs were stunning, the best ever! They consisted of 2 muffins with 2 slices of thick leg ham, cooked spinach, perfectly shaped poached eggs and the hollandaise sauce which was delicately peppered (nice touch!) My boyfriend was delighted with his offerings and my son was just as happy. The location is not idyllic, but it was one of those occasions when everything was perfect and it gave us a good feeling to find a satisfying breakfast venue not full of pretense. The waitress (Sue) said they open for lunch and dinner also. I will be heading back soon as they got it ALL right, which can be hard to master for some!

really nice family style restaurant, BYO(yay) and CHEAP!
went there with my partner and some friends on Wednesday night. i never travel north but now i've found this little place i will head-up more often.
the venue is stylish and cozy-the only problem is the plastic tablecloths....didn’t really fit in with the style of the restaurant.
the food was yummy..kinda like banca but with more traditional italian menu items. i tried the chicken scallopine and the adriatic pasta both were delish, the other members of our group were really pleased with their meals too. the serving size was large and most dishes came with some vegies or a garden salad.
Our waitress was lovely and she convinced us to have desserts with our coffees, both of which were great. the coffee was beautifully made and my pear strudel was to die for. Felt guilty coz i didnt leave a tip so i thought i'd write a nice review instead!!
