Starters were OK. We shared an antipasto platter between 3 girls. One of the girls wasn't impressed that there was ham instead of prosciutto (or the like).
I ordered the entree size marinara. It was over priced for what I got. There were 3 prawns, 3 mussels and 2-3 pieces of scallop for $19! One of my friends had the Farfalle al salmone which was disgusting. It tastes really fishy instead of fresh.
I do believe the pizza's are good.

Not good. We arrived after the rest of the table had ordered. We had to ask for them to take our order, for menu's for everything. They were lovely though.

The food wasn't great and the service was bad. Unfortunately I wont be going back.

Me and a friend went to Bellissimo Cafe on a Saturday night before going to the Claremont Hotel, the food was quite small in portion size (definitely didn't fill me or my friend up), although her pasta did look quite nice. My meal on the other hand was rather disappointing as I ordered the chicken caesar salad, however it came out with no chicken on it, so I politely told the waitress I ordered it with chicken and not even a minute later returned with my meal with a small handful of cold bbq chicken thrown on top of the salad...was not impressed as the meal wasn't cheap! I've had better caesar salads half the price of that! I did enjoy the caramel slice at the end of my meal though.

Service:

The service was okay, a couple of the waiters were quite pleansant and friendly, but when I asked how one of the meals on the menu was served our waitress didn't look too impressed to have to explain it for me, and didn't apologize for the caesar salad mix up.

Ambience:

The ambience was okay, nothing to rave about though, but it is only a cafe.

Overall:
Overall I wouldn't go back there again, I guess I had higher expectations being in Claremont, but if I want a caesar salad with cold bbq chicken I'll be making it myself at home!

Dropped in for a belated Sunday lunch after cruising down Cottelsoe way and realising that there was no way we were going to get a table along the beach strip on Fathers Day with out a booking.
Getting into Bellissimo however was not a problem.

We were in the mood for salads so I went for the Warm Prawn salad and partner went for the Caesar with chicken.

The prawn salad was presented beautifully with bright coloured vegetables of asparagus, capsicum, baby spinach, avocado and artichokes surrounded by about 7 prawns. It was a charming concoction but could have been a little bigger (at $24 I didn't walk out full).

The Caesar salad was huge, the chicken was tender (so often it is tough) and the Cos lettuce crunchy, the croutons were a little bit too tough though.

For drinks I had a skinny flat white, which was ok, and my partner had a chocolate milkshake which was choc full of ice-cream and very yummy.

Overall an enjoyable experience, we've been there before and will probably go back again for a weekend lunch. Try the pastas if you go.

Had a really tasty meal with a 4 year old here - he is usually extremely fussy and he gobbled down his ham and cheese pizza quickly.

Didn’t have to wait long, cold water and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate his behaviour.

Not my child (as if he was he would never be so fussy) but a really enjoyable experience.

Nice views of bay view tce and the Claremont folks bustling about; enjoy a coffee or even lunch. I found the veal scaloppini with some spaghetti to make a fine feast. Lots of eye candy about too to inspire the diner about thoughts of dessert.

Went for lunch at Bellissimo as it was quite early and the pub next door wasn't open!

Breakfast menu was out but took too long and they had to replace it with a lunch menu.

I had the "Bruschetta (I think) con Pepperoni" and I skimmed through the ingredients, not realising that their translation for pepperoni was actually peppers or capsicum. Definitely not correct.

Was tasty but definitely not very exciting at all. $12 for what I would expect to pay around $7-9 max.

The other stuff on the menu seemed pretty good, I just chose poorly.

Wait-staff were fine, out on the street was a lovely place for lunch and inside is quite nice.
