Me and my partner go to Betty's about once a week food is always cooked to perfection and service is outstanding and all staff know us by name. Menu has fresh and beautiful dishes to choose from. Prices are excellent and view and service is five star. Dessert its always a beautiful way to end a magnificent evening. Sauces, salads and entrees are fresh made traditionally and presented beautifully. Steak melts in your mouth.

Absolutely beautiful food as always. I had the special, which was a lovely crispy pan fried salmon steak with roasted peppers and a napolitana style sauce. Divine. But the stand out as always was my partner's surf and turf. An eye fillet cooked to perfection (rare) with fresh juicy succulent seafood topped with a creamy white wine sauce. Heaven.

Service:

Excellent as always

Beautiful views and very comfortable enjoyable atmosphere.

Betty Blues never fails to impress. Excellent food, brilliant service and worth every cent.

My beautiful lover and I went to this fine restaurant recently. We were seated promptly and enjoyed the magnificent view of the foreshore while we ordered a beer and browsed the menu. For entree we ordered the Brushetta. It was simply stunning. The flavours of the vine ripened tomatoes infused with fresh basil, complimented by the soft creamy crumbly goat’s cheese were wonderful. For mains we ordered the Barramundi Fillet with Mango Chutney, and the Surf and Turf. Both were equally delicious. The fish was moist and tasted amazing with the sweet flavour of fresh mango. The steak was cooked to perfection, layered with the freshest seafood. The service was excellent and we will be returning.

My husband and I have attended Betty Blues since it first opened and it would be my restaurant of choice.

My husband always gets one of the steaks; always cooked perfectly and I enjoy the calamari or one of the seafood selections.

Eaten with a nice cocktail and beer, it is family friendly and a place where we can relax.

For a while my husband and I and our 2 daughters have enjoyed a meal at Betty Blue at least twice a week. Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is always phenomenal, the service second to none and the overall experience is wonderful and relaxing.

The staff at Betty Blue are what make our dining experience 5 star. They are always courteous, eager to please and are genuinely interested in what’s been happening in our lives.

What I love most of all is that it's not a snobby upper class restaurant. It retains the laid back outlook on life that Perth is renowned for and for that I applaud John and his team at Betty Blue Bistro Rockingham.

Ok the ocean view is great and it is difficult to have a bad time with such a view on beautiful day. The place itself is a little bare and less pleasing to the eye than other places on this stripe.

The service was certainty ok.

The one thing I really don't like in a place is the undisclosed substitution of ingredients. It colours my whole impression for a place. In this case the mushrooms, blue cheese and spinach salad was missing blue cheese, substituted by a pale bland soft cheese. I happened to be really looking forward to the bight and tangy taste of a good blue cheese. I am sure it is difficult to stock all the ingredients and anticipate the volumes of order across the menu. I am quiet happy if such substitutions are disclosed prior to the order being committed to, not to do so, presumably on the basis that I will not notice, feels disrespectful. That being said the food was well cooked and the others I was with enjoyed their meals.

I had the pleasure of attending Betty blue bistro for dinner last Friday night. We arrived early as we had the kids and sitting on the ocean’s edge was a delightful setting. We had this absolutely delightful waitress that couldn’t do enough to be helpful and explained the menu very well. My partner ordered the prawn and mango curry which was lovely and light. I ordered the kangaroo fillet with a sweet potato and onion mash. However the stand out meal was without any question the lamb cutlets with a wild mushroom risotto. I couldn’t really fault the restaurant other than to say that the atmosphere could have been a little more elegant to match the fine food however it was anything to complain about.

Overall would highly recommend and have already.

I have been lucky enough to have dined here regularly since their opening night some three years ago. In all the meals (now probably approaching 50) I have never been disappointed and can honestly say that the standard of food has been maintained at an extremely high level. This restaurant has been a finalist four times in the Gold Plate awards winning in 2005 for Best free standing cafe.

The food is probably best described as French without the being pretentious. High quality ingredients are beautifully prepared and attractively presented. I have always found the seafood to be of the highest standard whilst carnivores could not possibly be disappointed with the steaks either from the menu or the daily specials board.

Friends from Perth, Interstate and Overseas that we have entertained here leave with a wonderful impression of all that is good about the food scene in Western Australia.

High class food, a well balanced wine list catering for all price points and a setting to die for. During the day you often see dolphins playing and at night the lights of Garden Island and Kwinana turn Cockburn Sound into a fairyland.

Do yourselves a favour and take the drive to Betty Blues. You won’t be disappointed.

Was here on a business lunch today. Had the chicken breast with mash and fresh asparagus. Didn’t know chicken breast featured leg bone.... Presentation was excellent, taste was rather bland however. My associate had the steak and fries and was very happy with his food. Ambience by the beach is very nice. I could imaging a romantic date by sunset could go down well. Service was average but it was rather busy, so I guess they were coping ok. Being a hot day I would have preferred if an airconditioned inside area would have been available.

This restaurant is out of the box and run by people who know, having been in the food industry for +10 years; ex King Street Cafe and Cecconis Melb. Experienced staff and great menu, amazing view.
