Welcome to Bibik Chan's Satay Garden

All I can say is delicious and cheap! I had the mini-vegetarian spring rolls for entree, which were nice except a bit too much carrot. For main I had the sesame chicken (with rice) which is four pieces of slow cooked chicken in a rich dark sauce. It was so delicious I am thinking about it the next day. My guest had the fried bee hoon which was tasty and came in a massive serving. Being of small stature, we had to both take-away our leftovers with enough for lunch. I suggest ordering several dishes and sharing among a group as there is probably enough in each dish for up to four people.

Service is polite and fast. Entree came out so fast it burnt off the roof of my mouth because I was so greedy.

The restaurant is clean, modern and well presented despite being part of the grungy Swan Hotel. The only snag is on a Thursday night when the Swan Basement cranks up with live bands at 8.00, all the cutlery starts jumping and the restaurant literally moves! I recommend you come early.

I am so impressed with the general quality and price I will definitely like to come here again! Total bill only came to $18 for both of us. The banquet menu is under $20. But make you don't decide to eat here when the live bands start playing unless you like to pretend you are eating throughout the event of an earthquake.

Love this place!!! Shame its so far from home. It is kind of weird, attached to the pub/hotel though. The food here is fabulous with very spicy type dishes such as beef rendang (wonderful) and some other stuff I can't spell or pronounce! The servings are generous and prices are very cheap. Most dishes are from memory under $10 and we only order 2 for our family of 4. A meal here for us would be around $30 at most. They also do a banquet set price, which is generally seafood. They have a couple of desserts which are yummo too. The 2 girls running this place are great and the food is brought out promptly. We would go here more often if they opened for lunch :0(
