Overall:
I went for a 3am dinner with a group of friends on Saturday night, the staff was very nice and the food came quit promptly.
We ordered spring rolls, which I found a bit too doughy and with way to little filling, though I must say I enjoyed the hint of cinnamon they had.
We then ordered the chicken and salted fish fried rice, which was a bit too dry for my liking; passing on to the seafood and tofu claypot, I didn’t try this one so I can’t comment, but people on the table said it was pretty good.
On the good side of the list we have the dishes that we will make me certainly go back to Billy Lees.
The combination Kuay Teow, extra tasty flat rice noodles with very good quality chicken, prawns and very tender squid, I enjoyed this dish very much it was truly great. The roast duck was excellent, very nice and crispy skin with very juicy and tasty meat. The schezuan pork was also very nice and tender, a good combination of saltiness and sweetness.
As dessert we had the fried ice-cream, I was quite disappointed with this one, as it was clearly been previously fried and therefore not very hot, also the coating should have been a bit doughier.
Overall, I will most certainly go back the quality and quantity of food was good for a reasonable price.
