Overall:
This restaurant is owned by Hans which has its own-named cafe across the path from Box 3. Having never been to Hans though, I can't give a comparison for you but this place always looks nicer than any of the Hans Cafes I have looked into.

Having a soup fetish recently we did something that a lot of you are going to wrinkle your foreheads at - we ordered soup before steamboat! The Box 3 soup (which had three King prawns in it) and the chicken and sweet corn soups were both very flavoursome, warming and filling. Just hit the spot.

More than can be said for the Chinese steamboat (alternatives were Vietnamese and Thai). The noodles were fine, the broth was fine, the vegetables were fine but the seafood was not so good. The prawns were okay but a bit over cooked but the half-shelled mussels and squid were not very good at all. They were so overcooked they were chewy. I thought the chewy squid was bad until I tried eating the very large but very chewy mussel. They were too big to put in your mouth whole and too tough to bite through. They were abandoned very quickly. We hunted down the prawns and veges though (must admit I have never seen soups with such a huge amount of capsicum in them) and with the noodles in the soup, this dish was more flavoursome than the starter soups.

As I have eaten here before, I would go again as I know the quality of the meals can be higher than experienced on this visit. I especially like their range of non-alcoholic drinks and very much enjoyed my non-dairy pineapple smoothie. Very yummy!

Overall:
Went to this restaurant today for a late lunch. The waitperson was very nice, quick and friendly in sitting us down. We sat on the booth with the touch screen to put our orders in. Not all tables though have the touch screen. It's only the booths that do have them and to be honest is quite a novelty especially for the kids. Nice choices of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. The Touch screen menu was very easy to navigate except it froze while we were trying to change our choice of food. We called the waitperson however she said she cannot reboot it and just to wait for 5-10 mins but offered to take our order manually if we can't wait any longer. We were happy to wait and look at the hard copy menu in front of us. Anyway, after a few mins, the computer sorted itself out and we were able to place our order in through the computer touch screen.

Majority of the food in the menu is Asian food. We ordered some soup, fried and plain rice, smoothies, lamb and satay chicken which were all very nice.

The drinks and food were all very quick. There was also a wide range of dessert on the menu but we decided to leave as the main meal we had was adequate. I've also noticed they have a special offer on the menu that if you dine or order a take away meal, you can purchase a movie ticket for $10.00 at the Hoyts cinema on the second floor. They also offer buffet breakfasts I've noticed at a reasonable price. All in all, our experience at the restaurant was lovely and relaxing. The ambience was nice and there are also tables outside if you want to relax. We would recommend this to people who wants a nice meal before or after the movies.
