Overall:
We came here for a late breakfast one morning and were seated outside at a big old wooden table. The building is very old and is quite important history-wise in Bridgetown as far as I could tell. It doesn't look like much from the street, but it is homely and comfortable inside and out. For those musically inclined, they have an old piano out the front (in a state of decay) that sounds remarkably good and my husband played it while we waited for our food. They also have a guitar inside.

They don't have a breakfast menu as such, but they can knock up the normal bacon and eggs or omelette. I went with an omelette of bacon, cheese, mushroom, tomato and spinach with toast. My husband went for a big breakfast - bacon, eggs, toast, tomato, mushroom etc.

The service was friendly, although the food did take a little longer to come out than we had expected. It didn't matter in the least because I ate the best omelette ever that morning! I didn't need to season it at all and it was piping hot when it came out (I actually had to let it cool). My husband commented that his breakfast was perfect and the mushrooms were the best he'd ever had. He also had a milkshake with his meal and it was served in a milkshake-sized ceramic pot, which kept it nice and cool. One of the people we were with opted for the steak from the lunch menu and he said it was cooked perfectly to his liking.

This meal would be up there in my top 5 best breakfasts. It really was fantastic. Fresh, hot and delicious. If we go back to Bridgetown again we will definitely be stopping here.
