With their new menu and management C Blu restaurant has become my number one choice for restaurants on the water. Having accepted the managers recommendation of the Seafood platter, we were more than impressed upon its arrival. Wow! lobster, scampi, oysters, grilled and fried fish, scollops, morton bay bug.... all for $80, enough for two? more like three!

Service:

The service was nothing short of fantastic. Having just completed in-house wine training and a tasting our waiter 'Olivia' was more than confident to recommend the Geisen "The brothers" as an excellent accompaniment to our platter.

Ambience:
Modern with a water/ ocean theme. And Views of the Indian Ocean to die for!

Overall:
Food/ Service/ Location - Fantastic! My favourite place to eat out on the beach! Leaves most for dead!

We went here for a friends 30th. There were about 20 of us and I don't think anyone was satisfied with their food. The fish I order was dry and tastless. The girl next to me ordered what was supposed to be lamb shanks but was a mess of gristle and bone not the mention the fact that it wasn't cooked through. They did replace her meal with another but it wasn't the same and she basically got stuck with whatever the kitchen had left for the night.

Service:

Service for food was ok, service for drinks was terrible.

Lovely location right on the beach. Shame about everything else

Overall:
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

31st birthday bash dinner

Sat 23/02/08, arrived at 20:30/21:00

Food:
Menu was quite extensive and varied. We ended up ordering the F.O.D [fish of the day] as the Oysters were not available. Grilled snapper on a bed of sweet potato mash served mango spicy sauce, mine was put on the side as I don't fancy standalone mango unless it’s with ice cream :^) Others ordered; sirloin, t-bone and fried calamari dishes.

Service:
The group found the service very inattentive to the point twice where I got up and alerted the staff that we were ready for menu ordering and later that evening again a reminder to them that we were ready for desserts menu, which they had no tiramisu left only what was available on the counter, which was two tortas.

Ambience:
It was a typical somewhat night in Perth, seated near a window and watching the sun setting into the Indian Ocean as it went from twilight to dark, whilst the freo/rotto lights started to glow.

We might try their breakfast menu on lazy Sunday.

it's the first time i have taken my family out to dinner in 5 years so i was nervous in my decision, thankfully all the staff at C-blu restaurant provided professional yet friendly service being ever attentive.

The menu is large with a wide variety of food to choose from plus they have a second specials menu which all sounded delightful.

As it sounded so nice three of us had the fish of the day, red emperor it was to die for cooked to perfection with succulent tiger prawns and a fresh mixed salad

overall a great dining experience with a soft ambient feel and a view to die for i will be back many times come summer just to watch the sun set(and to try the rest of the menu yum)

I will never forget the FANTASTIC service I had at C Blu Restaurant.

We were each greeted by the restaurant manager upon entry and shown to nice quiet table which over looked the ocean. A waiter appeared with water and the menus. Their staff were alert and paid attention and were always making sure we had water and drinks at our table. We order our entrées and mains which were just divine, and the restaurant manager came to each table and checked to see if everything was ok.

My partner's drink was cleared one mouthful to early, but upon the waiters realisation, was replace with a new drink free of charge and an apology..WHAT FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!!

C Blu is obviously a very well run restaurant, with friendly and experienced staff. The Food is 'to die for' and the view over the ocean just priceless.

We will definitely be dining here in future.

So I had lunch here today, although the restaurant was not that busy, the ambience is lovely. Great ocean views, friendly staff and good service. I had the fillet steak, potatoes, crispy veggies and a wine based sauce. The chef was able to prepare the large/thick fillet well done (blasphemy, I know) to my liking w/o bloody bits inside. Dish did require a bit of salt to be added so it wasn’t perfect in my books, but then again Joe average has a lower salt tolerance/requirement than me. If you like your crispy vege then this was perfect for you. The fresh garlic pizza bread was a large serving and very delicious.
