Overall:
Peckish is one of the few places in Osborne Park where the food is not deep fried or Swedish (not that there's anything wrong with that).
It's right next door to the Ikea carpark and within walking distance of much of the Herdsman business park, an area devoid of much in the way of restaurants.
Peckish is a casual little cafe that does a humming lunch trade for starving business people and journalists (the West is nearby). It offers a fare of fresh rolls, coffee, cakes and other stuff like risotto balls, chicken coquettes (still don't know what's in them, but tasty) and frittatas. The service is super-fast and the staff efficient. It's certainly not sit-down-and-order, just walk up to the counter and you'll have your plate within minutes.
Although Peckish punches above its weight in food quality, it falls down on some of its pricing. Regardless of what you buy, a salad on the side will cost you about $6 or so on top of your meal. Which means your $8 lasagne or frittata will cost you $15 with a bit of greenery on the side.
Sure, you can choose three different types of salad but you'll end up with more salad than food and suddenly a work-a-day lunch is near $20, which can hurt the hip-pocket a bit.
Many who frequent Peckish are at a loss as to why a simple garden salad is not offered for a lesser price to go with other things from the menu.
Anyway, other than that, Peckish plays its role servicing the business community of Herdsman well and for those that work nearby, the days that Peckish is closed are dark indeed.
