Overall:
My friends and I went for an impromptu dinner on a Friday night and were warmly welcomed by this quaint restaurant in the heart of Leeming.

The 3 of us shared the tasting platter to start off with, which consisted of samosas, spring rolls, crumbed prawns and squid rings. An interesting mixture for an italian place, but all were very crispy and full of flavour.

For mains, the boys had rack of lamb and roast veal. The side dishes of mash potato and grated carrot were rather tiny, but the boys weren't complaining. The meat was well done and very juicy, done in fine sauces of mushroom gravy.

My greek salad was pretty tasty, however the olives were overpowered by the garlic sauce, and there was a little too much dressing.

Our meals were accompanied by mini garlic breads each which were done just right.

The venue is BYO, but I think $4 corkage is a bit much, especially when you consider the majority of wines are screw tops these days! The rest of the wine list was very good however and very reasonably priced.

For dessert, the boys finished off with assorted icecream, which cleansed the palate nicely and a crème caramel with cream which my friend polished off, so it must have been pretty good!

Overall it was a nice relaxed evening if want a cosy place to chat with good friends over a few glasses of wine. I would probably go back there with parents!
