Overall:
Went yesterday with the folks and little sis and friend for lunch. It was very hot as their air-con wasn't working but that's not their fault. They had one fan but it was kept over at the tasting of wines place until the restaurant filled up a bit more.
Service was good and I think the ambience would have been better if it were cooler inside but oh well, all up we had a good time.
I had the beef fillet served on a rosti and asparagus which was nice, I asked for medium well done but I think it was more like medium but that's fine, I usually ask medium well done because restaurants vary in the way they cook it but at least hopefully I'll not get anything less cooked than medium. Anyway, I ate all my meal as it was so tasty. Mum got mushroom and vegies which she liked, Dad had the pork and he loved it, kept on raving about it, sis had beef, bacon and beer pie which she liked and the friend had little sausages with chips and salad. Most of the food was eaten which shows we enjoyed our food.
For five people, two wines, a beer and two LLBs the total bill came to $150 which I thought wasn't bad. Oh, and we had some of their bread to start with as well which was good, it had onions inside it and came out with oil and balsamic.
As there are so many places down there I don't think I'd rush back but after a couple of years I may go back and try something else.
