Food:

With a recent Menu change, its great to see the high standards Casellas has carried through to their second menu. We dined there on a Wednesday evening, the weather was average, but the food and service were defiantly not- Absolutely loved the Abodabo Chicken Supreme. The food we received was creative and extremely well prepared and presented, its fair to say that this restaurant is defiantly one of the "BEST" i have eaten at in the south west, and has some of the best steaks Bunbury has to offer!!

Service:

The staff were great, attentive and knowledgeable about there food and beverages. Great Job Guys

Ambience:

What more can i say, this venue is located right on the shores of Koombana bay, with fantastic views a classy dining room and a great relaxing wine/tapas lounge, Casellas has a lot going for it... Although it can get a little loud on busy evenings, but its a small price to pay.

Overall:
This is a fantastic Restaurant, Wine and Tapas Lounge. On the few occasions we have dined here, we have always been thoroughly impressed with all Casellas has to offer, and If you want Tapas, then Casellas is the only place to go. Casellas in my opinion, is by far one of the best restaurants in the south west.

Food:

Started with scollops and warm oysters. Taste sensation followed by duck and squid, equally sensational. An excellent wine menu and great coffee. Finished with cheese tastefully served. Would have loved to experience dessert however not in the mood but definitely next time.

Service:

Very presentable and helpful. Knowledgeable and honest. I like to hear staff have actually tasted the items on the menu, adds more credibility.

Ambience:

Pleasant and relaxing with lovely water views. Large area not restricted by crowded tables. Modern but subtle.

Overall:
Definitely on my list to visit again. Suitable for casual and formal dining day and night from coffee and cake, light lunch to serious dining.

Food:

Food was of an excellent quality and presentation. For entree we had the tapas menu and thoroughly enjoyed the swiss cheese melts and sauteed scallops. I had the wagyu sirloin beef with red wine jus and butter sauce with potato puree and salad and my fiance had the wagyu scotch fillet. Each gave us a choice of sides and sauces. It was the first time we had this highly regarded beef that we have heard so much about and it was true to it's claims of extra tenderness and juiciness. It's also good to know it's a local produce. By the time we got to the dessert, I was absolutely full but couldn't resist the passionfruit and white chocolate mousse. My fiance had the spanish donuts with a rich chocolate dipping sauce. Both was delicious!

Service:

Staff were very knowledgable about the food and wine menu, especially with their recommendations. The service was both professional and pleasant.

Ambience:

The restaurant's decor was trendy and modern with plenty of space between diners. There's also different sections of the restaurant for drinks with a huge plasma and lounge area. However, could do with a bit more music. Overall the feel of the restaurant was very relaxed and comfortable.

Overall:
We dined with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed themselves. The dining experience was fantastic with great food, service and atmosphere. We will definitely come back the next time we're in Bunbury.

We have been here twice now, once for dinner and the other for drinks and the food seems consistently good. On our first visit my husband had the whole flounder which was utterly delicious. I had the lamb which although good was a little dry and boring. The tapas part of the menu is delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the potatas bravas on both occasions and the chili prawns. Dessert was fantastic as we had the churros con chocolate which is like a stick of donut that you dip in a rich chocolate sauce. YUM!

Service:

On the night we were there we were firstly put at an inside table even though we had earlier in the day requested an outside table. Our waiter then took our order without writing anything down and needless to say the first dish we got we did not order but still paid for! Very frustrating!

Ambience:

Very good ambience. It has great views of Koombana Bay and the inside decor suits the clientel - very swish but still a comfortable feel.

Overall:
A good night out but expect to pay for it! Can be very expensive even if you only go for drinks. Also make sure your waiter doesn't try to show off and get him to write your order down! Overall we had a good night on both occasions, but were a lot lighter in the hip pocket in the morning.
