Overall:
Went out for the Mongolian BBQ last Friday night. We arrived just after 7:30 as we were told it gets very busy between 6-7 pm. When we arrived, there was a huge line of people putting their orders at the counter. We waited in line and after a few mins, we were served. We ordered some herb bread for entree and the Mongolian bbq bowls. They have this on Fridays and Sunday nights. They come in 3 sizes, kids, ladies and gentleman and gluttons. They bowls don't look big but once food has been placed and cooked it was more than enough for us. The whole idea of this is to go to a bain marie of uncooked meat (beef, chicken, squid and fish) with a nice variety of fresh veggies, condiments such as garlic, onions, chillis and a bunch of sauces from soy to plum sauce. There were still alot of people so we joined in the line of people grabbing their food at the bain marie. We then have to wait in line for the chef to cook the food in front of us in this huge round bbq. After this, we then grabbed some nicely cooked steamed rice. The meal quantity for the price we paid was sufficient. We didn't have the chance to order our desserts but just managed to have a cup of tea and a hot chocolate which was average. They have wait staff who will clear your tables but you have to order at the counter. It is a nice place for family gatherings. It has some sort of a cross between an African style and outback style restaurant. Overall, it was a nice experience and wouldn't mind going back and taking the kids. They also have an ala carte menu if Mongolian bbq is not your thing.
