China House finds a way to serve westernised Chinese as well as traditional dishes, without compromising anything. With bus loads of tourists coming in early to mid week, each and every week, it's no wonder why the locals jump on board and head their whenever they get a chance, or take the opportunity to order their very good value takeaway.

What a great find!!! Situated in Shenton Park next door to the IGA supermarket.
Service was very friendly, our first time there and they made us feel like regulars and the food was superb - real Cantonese cooking.
We had; Honey Chilli Prawns - score 10/10
Chilli Squid - score 9/10
Cantonese fillet steak in fruit sauce - score 12/10!!!
And the prices were reasonable too. We got out for under $75 including BYO.

China House has been a restaurant I've grown up with over the past 12 years or so, being a Shenton Parkian for so long. We would always get take-away when we wanted a quick and easy meal and it WOULD NEVER disappoint. Honey Chili Chicken all the way.
After seeing bus loads of Asian tourists coming to this well located restaurant, my best mate and I thought we better dine in and see what all this extra fuss is about. It was a rather lovely, but typically decorated Chinese restaurant, with the crustacean tanks, fish tanks, and mini-bar with a few Aussie beers, leading into two sections, private dining and public dining.
The layout is great and the artwork and Chinese memorabilia gave a very warm feeling. The food was just as expected from a glimpse at the menu. Not one complaint came from our four-person table and we were all very satisfied and full of praise.
If you want, what I class as Perth's BEST chilies in any of the hot meals, China House is the place to go. Or as we refer to it, China How, because of the accent of the lovely Chinese lady who has been answering our phone calls for many, many years.
