Welcome to Clancy's Fish Pub Fremantle
Somebody once said, "Life is too short to drink bad wine" - and we believe them! At Clancy's Fish Pubs you will find a small but interesting bunch of really good wines from Western Australia's smaller producers. Available by the glass or bottle, you can enjoy wines from all over our fair state.
Here's something you probably didn't know - Clancy's Fish Pub is one of W.A's biggest supporters of live local music and has been for over 10 years! We work hand in hand with the WA Music Industry Association (WAMI) to give up and coming artists a platform to share their music. Each of the Clancy's Fish Pubs has a different sound, with Freo being home to blues, roots and rock, , and Canning Bridge giving you great chilled out tunes to tap your toe to. And because we find it hard to put price tag on live local music, we never have a cover charge.
With giant seafood platters, melt in your mouth fish and hot and spicy chilli mussels Clancy's deserves its reputation for serving the best value and quality seafood in town! Although we're famous for seafood, we also serve some great 'landfood'! From tender T-bones to tasty salads, we've got plenty of meals for the fish-phobe. And if you thought choosing from our menu was hard enough, we also cook up daily specials which feature hearty soups, pizzas and other tasty morsels. With food to share and food to tackle solo, one thing's for sure - you'll always get a good feed in a relaxed, casual environment at Clancy's Fish Pub.
Get into some hip hops at Clancy's! We've got all the news on the latest brews such as masterpieces from Gage Roads and Matso's Broome Brewery, so come down and try something different. We have top quality locally made microbrews and ciders on tap at each of the Fish Pubs. These are made in small batches and with a great deal of love, passion and care (often mistaken for blood, sweat and tears) from local brewsters and will please the most discerning beer drinker.

Absolutely delish! Love the food here and have never had a bad dish. I have been here on weekends and weekdays for lunch. This time we went on a Monday. I had the snapper (grilled) and hubby had the seafood platter for 1. They were both enormous serves. Really good value for your money. My only observation would be that rather than chips you could have the option of baked potato.
The service was a bit slow on the Monday, I don't think they expected as many people in on a Monday as that were there. That said, it wasnt so long that you would complain.
Its always a nice view if you get a table overlooking the river.
Overall:
A solid place, one that you will return to again and again.
had dessert only..sticky date pudding is recommended!
prompt and fast.
extremely relaxed and nice place to chill out at nite.
Overall:
would love to come back for a full meal but great place to drink (cappuccino of course!) and get together with the mates on a weekday night!

I love going to clancy's in summer, whether it's just the boyfriend and I, with family and with friends and their children. This venue has something for everyone.
The back beer garden area is great for families and gives everyone the chance to relax, even those with children.
My friend's little girl has a ball there and made such a good friend during one visit that she was invited to a birthday party about 2 months later.
In winter the inside is great to sit by the fire and keep warm with a few pints.
And when it's just adults the front beer garden makes for great long afternoon drinks in summer.
The foods great, nothing beats the grilled seafood platter and there's a great range of beverages.
Overall:
Casual lunch with friends on Easter Monday at Clancy's. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside facing the park which was full of kids and dogs (easily entertained while mum and dad enjoy a quiet drink).
A few bottles of white wine were a perfect match for our meal. My husband got Oysters Kilpatrick as a starter (loved them) and a steak sandwich for main (bit odd at a fish pub, I know.) I shared a starter of grilled chorizo which wasn't as good as some I have tried and prawn skewers with Cajun spices which was one of the specials of the day. The servings were huge and really tasty - I had 3 prawn skewers, each with 15 small but delicious prawns on them - 45 prawns all up!! Enough to share with everyone (and I NEVER share my prawns). Our friends enjoyed their fish and chips (I love Clancy's big fat chips) and veal scallopini.
The service was fast and friendly, the food was plentiful, fresh and filling, all the tables were full and I don't think that anybody would have left unsatisfied. Love this place; we will definitely go back again.
Overall:
Went tonight with a group of 10 for a casual dinner and a couple of beers.
We got a big table inside, very relaxed atmosphere and lots of heaters around the place. Good selection of beers on tap.
Food wise, quite a few of the people in the group got seafood platters that were huge, I got the seafood Paella, which was _that_ good! (even better than the ones my Spanish friends make).
I’d recommend Clancy's for lunch or dinner along with a couple pints.
