Went to Coco's for Dad's 60th, all the seafood dished were fabulous, but the steak and lab cutlets, were tough and very over cooked. The best dishes on the table were the seared scallops, and the duck. Although the steak eaters were disappointed the rest of us were almost licking the plates.

Service:

Service was excellent, have been recently, and it wasn't so good so warned the family not to expect too much, but everyone was very pleasantly surprised.

Can't beat the views, we were sitting on the balcony on a beautiful 23 degree day. Unbeatable!

Overall:
A great place that is consistently more good than bad. Much more than most places in Perth. Will definitely be back, and being a wine club member makes it that little bit more affordable.

The nicest food we have had at a restaurant for a long time. The seafood was fresh and the steak tender. All were cooked to perfection.

Service:

Service was prompt and attentive. We had to ask for the water to be refreshed - but on a busy night this was acceptable.

Ambience:

We sat outside and overlooked the Perth skyline - what a great view.

Overall:
Could not fault Coco's. The food, service and view were all excellent. Everyone at our table (10 people) had a exceptional meal and night out.

Me and my partner loved Coco's when we went there for my birthday last year, the food was fantastic, we were both impressed and if you don't feel like eating much or want your meal to be more affordable you can have an entree size of the main meals and it's still quite large. I had the whiting and mashed potato and it was amazing!

Service:

The service is great, we went on a Monday night which was still really busy and still the staff never made up feel stressed or rushed and meals were brought out promptly. The staff were very professional, yet not snooty, you can tell it's well run.

Ambience:

We had a lovely table outside and didn't even have to ask for it, even though it was quite busy, it still made it's customer's feel at ease.

Overall:
I love Coco's and everyone I know who's been there loves it too. We definitely will be going back, and was surprisingly not as pricey as we expected.

the service was great here especially being a sat night & packed shows management is onto it, although one of the meals was forgotten but given free of charge which was great i loved the way the oysters were ordered singly i know that’s a way of making more money but i only like a couple so it suited me fine!! we had a discrepancy with the money at the end as we gave the guy all the money & he thought we gave him $50 short which was a bit disappointing but he accepted that we wouldn't lie.

the meals are small but filling overall i was happy but had been told how excellent it was i couldn't say that myself

I think Coco's has slipped a long way from its hey day. Admittedly it had been some years since the last time I went, but I was astonished at the difference.

The service was disappointing. The wait staff were slack and didn't offer coffee or dessert. It was an effort for them to take the order and weren't knowledgeable about the food.

I ordered a crab salad as an entree which sounded divine. In reality it was crab meat with mayonnaise on a piece of toast - and cost something like $40! The mains were the same old boring thing and bland.

As a local south Perth resident, I find it disappointing that our local has fallen so low.

I was here last Tuesday night for dinner with my boyfriend, my best friend and her boyfriend!
fantastic food, fantastic "down to earth" staff, excellent service - delicious dessert (chocolate supreme!)

i do agree with everyone else tho, very pricey..but i suppose your paying for the lovely location and views of the city! - We didnt have a booking and although they were busy we only waited 5 mins for a table!

Went to Cocos on saturday for dinner. Was well aware of the price before hand so we were not really surprised by the cost.

Had the turkish bread for entree. At $5 for 3 pieces, I think for the amount paid, the restaurant could have included more than 3 pieces.

Had the sirloin steak. It was a huge 300 grams slab of cow. And done perfectly right. The wife had the chicken, also fantastic too.

We ordered chips as a side dish to feed his royal highness. Again at $7.90 and you can a small bowl of chips (approximately 20-25 pieces), I think more could be given.

Ambience was lovely with the view of the Swan river but I think like another review mentioned, I was getting dirty looks whenever bub so much as made a whimper.

Serving staff were extremely lovely, they provide cutlery for bub and even gave him a pen and paper to practice his artistic flair.

In summation, I would visit Cocos again, but only definitely have the mains as I feel the entrees and sides are overpriced and lacking in quantity.

And finally, my one sticking point in my meal experience, a RED jumper does not go well with black/blue pants. The manager (?) had on a bright red jumper which in my wife's and my opinion totally clash with the deco, atmosphere and ambience with the place.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Coco’s.

As soon as my group and I entered we were greeted immediately by a friendly man who seated us promptly.

We had a waitress attend to us within minutes of being seated and after we had ordered our food came out phenomenally fast.

The service was great; one waitress was able to recall all specials with precision and absolute detail which blew me away.

Overall, the service was excellent, Coco’s has made the right choice by having an abundance of staff.

The food was great and the food and beverages were prices fairly.

I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great family dinner or trying to impress someone.

My husband and kids and I recently ventured out to CoCo's for breakfast to celebrate a friend's birthday.

Breakfast was $25 each. I have had much better. The bacon was not crispy. The scrambled eggs too runny and we had to line up to get our food and tea/coffee. I don't like buffet lines.

The fruit platters were not anything impressive, nor was the pastry table.

If you like omelet’s, the chef will cook one up in-front of you which was a little different.

The views from outside on the balcony were fantastic - overlooking the river to the city.

The service bordered on unfriendly. Most other guests did not bring children and some guests were looking at us with peculiar glares. I would not bring the kids here, they will bore easily and I personally felt uncomfortable there, unlike other venues that are more than happy to cater for children.

I don't think my meal was value for money and I didn't enjoy my experience. I won't be going back in future (with or without the kids).

Overall:
The food here is great. We started with the crunchy prawns in chilli jam - quite hot at the evening meal (although my partner tells me that the Saturday lunch chef does it much milder). I had the Gummy Shark fillets with a side of veggies for the main, which were great!

The service was somewhat lacking; I ordered a small serve of the fish (being a small eater) but was presented with (and charge for) a large serve.

Drinks were offered before the menus were provided so we did not see the prices of what we ordered beforehand - a bottle of water will set you back $9, but beer and champagne only $6 or $7. Rather pricy water I thought.

The only other issue was that we were seated outside and a group at another table were all smokers, and not the type to consider others and move away while smoking. I can't wait until they change the laws so people can no longer smoke outside at an eating house!!

My partner loves this restaurant, however I feel it is overpriced for the level of service we received on the night.

The atmosphere of Coco's is lovely, as it is complemented by superb views of the river. Bookings are essential and you may like to request an outside table - these have the best view, are less crowded and are warm because they have outdoor style heaters.
Staff have been well trained and service is what you would expect at a high class restaurant. Cocktails and meals are lovely - small serving’s however and very high prices. A small entree will set you back approximately $25, while a main course may cost $45.

Their cocktail list is extensive and delicious, although again it is expensive. Large bottles of water cost just under $10 each, so the costs add up.

This dressy restaurant has a nice ambiance and is the place to go if you want to pay the prices. It really depends if it's your type of thing!
