Food:

My partner and I ordered the most memorable bruschetta that I have ever encountered. For our mains we ordered a chorizo penne and a crumbed veal and salad. The veal was a little overcooked - which was disappointing. The salad dressing was very tasty. The penne was a taste sensation, a creamy tomato sauce that had a slight chili kick. Yum. The bottle of wine was MAGNIFICENT!

Service:

The waiters were very friendly - without being excessively attentive. They anticipated our requirements and helped to provide a pleasant dining experience.

Ambience:

We chose a long weekend to dine. So did half of the Italian population of Perth (according to the waiter!). It was very cramped. We were outside and a crowd of 20 chose to use our area to smoke, swear and disturb the ambience of the alfresco area of this restaurant.

Overall:
The food was delicious, the staff were divine, the ambience was disappointing. We would definitely dine here again, with more awareness to the time of year.

What to pick on the extensive menu is always hard! My husband and I are "regulars' and literally live around the corner eating there once a week approx. Although we can get discount at many restaurants using cards etc, we choose Da Vinci's as our number one.

I am partial to their Marinara. A running joke amongst staff if I really need to sight the menu! The seafood is fresh, sauce not overpowering, and pasta cooked to perfection. Any pizza we have tried have been great either as dine in or take away.

The specials menu offer many dishes that tempt the pallet and change on a regular basis. We introduce friends from all over the country and globe to this gem and at all times EVERYONE has raved about the food and have since returned.

Service:

We are yet to fault anything with the service. Everyone enjoys a chat, are down to earth and at all times makes us feel welcome and special. Even at the busiest times all staff and friendly, professional and make a point to ensure patrons have their needs met.

Ambience:

Wny go back to a place over and over if the ambience was poorly? I can assure you it's not. You have the option to eat indoors or out and feel relaxed and comfortable at all times.

Overall:
You may have guessed but its our favourite place and quickly becoming one that all our family, friends and work colleagues just want to return to over and over. So it's not just us who love Davinci's, the food and staff. Dino, Leoni and staff are to be commended.

Have been here many times and this place never disappoints!! For entree we shared the wood fired focaccia and dips. The bread was nice, hot and fresh. For a main i had the marinara and my partner had the pork with apple and pear puree. The servings are quite good and couldn't resist desert.

For desert we both had the chocolate mousse, it was so scrumious and rich and a coffee to wash it down.

The bill came under $90.00 for 1 entree, 2 mains, 2 desert, 2 coffees and 2 drinks....Best money i have spent!

The waitstaff are attentive and friendly and even greet you in italian!! Thats a real italian restaurant.

All the times i have been to Da Vinci, i have never had a complaint about the food, or service!

Great service, Great food, Great Great desserts - the woodfired pizza must be tried. I could only eat 3 slices and ate the rest the next day and it still tasted great.

Lunch at Da Vinci was delicious and I'd definitely like to return for a dinner. I ordered the Petto Di Polo (Herb chicken breast layered on potato mash with string beans and oven dried tomatoes and drizzled with pesto) which was very, very nice and reasonably priced ($21.50). My partner ordered the Fettucine Pesto (Pasta in creamy garlic sauce with chicken, pesto, broccoli and cream) and it was absolutely divine.

Service was unfaultable, I will definitely be returning and will no doubt have difficulty ordering from their extensive menu!

Fantastic Food, Fantastic Service.

It's not the cheapest place to eat but the food is worth the money. We go as often as our budget will allow!

Was there on a Saturday night. The staff were efficient but not pushy. There were 8 people at our table so we started with garlic bread and italian bread. I then ordered a wood fired pizza. The pizza was nice but needed to be cooked a little more. All the others were extremely happy with their meals and the seafood looked sensational. The portion's were large which is what is expected. The atmosphere was good, plenty of space around tables. The food and drinks were quite well priced. The staff were excellent. The owner came and talked to us for a little and offered us all a drink on the house. When it came to pay the bill he also just rounded the total down to make it easier for us to split.

Overall was very impressed.

I love this place. They do the best woodfired pizzas - the vegetariana is sensational. They come with chillies in oil (just ask if you're getting take away) which is a wonderful touch. I haven't tried much else because I can't go past the pizzas but friends have tried various pastas and salads and have loved them.

The staff are really lovely and quite charismatic and despite being located at the rather unimpressive location of the corner of Scarborough Beach Road and Charles St the restaurant is quite pleasant. Give it a go, it's definitely worth a visit, especially seeing as a few of the Italian restaurants in Leederville are a bit ordinary.
