Food:

Went for yumcha/dimsum last weekend, wanted to try out this new place. Overall the quality is above average, some dishes were exceptionally great. Really like their prawn & chive dumpling and their prawn & pork dumplings (siu mai), it is really good esp the one with chive. The sizes of dim sum are bigger than the usual one though, so i couldn't try all the dishes as was so full from those that we've tried. The DURIAN puff, is a must try for everyone out there, the pastry was flaky yet not oily and there is real DURIAN in it, I was surprised to find out.
A few let downs though, the scallop, corn & prawn dumplings wasn't that great, I couldn't taste any scallops but heaps of corn. Shark fin dumplings, maybe not for those who want to try real shark fin!

Service:

Service was great, comparing with other yum cha places. They do have a lot of staff in standard uniforms, they can all speak fluent English and was really efficient. I give 4 stars as i was annoyed by one of their top-up-hot tea staff, because he kept checking on our teapot every 2 mins.

Ambience:

Really nice decor, if people are looking for good and grand decor on a Chinese restaurant, this is the place to go. Seats and tables are quite comfortable. They do have a good set of crockery, didn't find any chipped plate or cups

Overall:
Nice experience, well done with food, efficiency and environment. Will want to try more dishes next time, can't wait to go back.

Food:

The food is definitely one of the best of all the Chinese restaurants in Perth. The peking duck is the best I've had here, the skin comes with a bit of meat and a variety of veges to add to the taste ($58). The fried king prawn with duck egg yolk batter is delicious - the taste is special and the prawns are very large whilst there is a thin layer of crispy batter, the serving is also decent ($23). Some of the stirfry seafood dishes weren't exceptional, however they do have a range of very special dishes that other restaurants may not have.

Service:

The service is very good. The staff are very attentive and the manager Tom is very friendly. All the staff speak fluent English. Service is speedy and all your needs are taken care of with care and thought. Packaged and sealed wet towels are also provided for foods that may dirty your hands.

Ambience:

The ambience is very grand and of a high class. From seats to chopsticks and lighting to wallpaper - everything is beautiful. There is a modern Western twist to the beautiful Asian decor. Just imagine chandeliers and water fountains. There also LCD tvs on the walls playing live Chinese channels.

Overall:
This resturant is very new, but overall the experience I had there was great! Out of all the Chinese restaurants in Perth this one is definitely one of the best. The only issue may be that the dishes are more pricey than the average Chinese restaurant. However, in my opinion the premium is well worth it. The increase in price is proportional to the increase in quality of food, service and ambience. It's definitely worth a visit!
