Food:

Average although has great relsih.

Service:

over the past year has become increasing poor - staff mix up drinks forget to warm some desserts

Ambience:

Only good if you like smoke drifting in (Contary to local council bylaws management has done nothing to stop smokers outside. toilets need a good clean.

Overall:
Kniting group is not welcome cos we complained about the smoke - we did put up with the poor service smelly toilets and the cafe increasingly looking a bit shabby. We spent a lot of money buying coffee and cake and sandwiches.

Food:

The food is simple yet creative, and it would also be nice to see fresh pastries and cakes daily.

Service:

The service is quite inviting and encourages repeat business. Brendan provides the best service, however it would be good to have someone with his capabilities when he is not around.

Ambience:

I don't mind the atmosphere inside, but I cherish the outdoor setting its fantastic watching the world go past.

Overall:
Overall I am happy with Exomod some improvements i could suggest would be, 1.) have larger water glasses, coffee dehydrates a person and the current size glasses only provide a few mouth fulls. 2.) Mirror the Booth seating on the Northern side of the cafe to the south. 3.) increase the heights of the seating inside.

The food at Exomod tastes delicious! Walking in, and seeing the cake fridge is definitely a wondrous site, with a vast range of cakes, savories, and sweets to indulge in. As well as sweets, the cafe sells everything from quiches to foccacia rolls and wraps.
I especially love the tastes of the chicken and avocado roll! It is possibly the most delicious thing that I've eaten!!!

Service:

The staff at Exomod all seem to be very friendly, and enjoy being there. As a customer, I have found that they always consider the customers needs first, and produce excellent service, always with a smile! :) Coffees and food come out quickly, and always with care and duty.

Overall, Exomod is the perfect place to go for either just a coffee, a complete meal, dessert, and a great place to hang with friends, on your own whilst doing some work, and the vibe and atmosphere makes customers feel really comfortable. My friends and I always choose this cafe to hang out after uni, as its open so much. (Til 11pm during the week, and 24 hours on Sat and Sun). Exomod is definitely THE cafe in Perth to visit, and gives this boring city a divine and comforting choice of venue!

This place isn't as good now as it was a year ago but it's still one of the best places in Mt Lawley to get coffee. It does good coffee and has a great atmosphere. The food really only extends to cakes and light bites so I wouldn't really recommend it for lunch. The best thing about this place is that it’s open all hours and so it’s a great place to hang out. I always enjoy going here.

Overall:
This Cafe is great for me and my friends to frequent twice a week after all the other cafes have closed over the weekend.

The owner, Brendan is very charming and ensures that all runs smoothly while he's there.

The coffees are superbly made, the gelato is divine and the cakes are standard good fare at good prices.

The wonderful thing about this cafe is that they allow their guests to linger as long as they like without pressuring them to order more coffee.

The down side to this is that the customers who use it as their private internet cafe, by hogging the tables and spreading themselves comfortably all around, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. This can be very annoying, especially when there is a shortage of seating in the busy hours of the night.

On most days, the staff play wonderful chill-out music that makes you want to linger there forever... but on some nights, the staff play an atrociously loud mix of 'uncafe'-style rock/contemporary music which often drives their customers like me away.

Keep up the great work, ExoMod!

Overall:
I have probably had coffee or supper at Exomod about twenty times now, as it's one of the only places near me that is open very late on Friday and Saturday nights (I think it might even be 24h on a Saturday night).

When this place first opened, it was my secret find... but now it has become quite popular! The best thing about it is the atmosphere. It's nice and colourful inside with some red couches and a constant rotation of different artwork on the walls that is for sale. I love looking at different paintings every time I visit.

The owner is very nice and friendly, but unfortunately I think the standard and atmosphere has dropped a lot since she stopped working there often (or at all). While the staff used to be extra friendly, they're now just average - that is, helpful enough but slightly disinterested.

I used to be able to count on the PERFECT hot chocolate - it comes in a big mug and always was the perfect strength, the perfect temperature and had a thick layer of creamy delicious froth. Now that the manager is not the one making my hot chocs, they are variable - I've had them without much froth at all, or luke warm (my pet hot chocolate peeve!) If you like white chocolate, the rich white hot chocolate is also worth a try.

Water is self serve and you can choose water with fresh orange, water with fresh lime in it etc. I haven't sampled many of their cakes, they never look very appetising. Their sticky date pudding was more like a date muffin with a disappointing sauce, and it certainly wasn't fresh.

Again, the best thing about Exomod is the atmosphere. It caters for an older crowd, with plenty in their thirties and forties + there for a chat, but younger clientele as well.

I still frequent Exomod, but if I'm in the mood for a well made hot chocolate, I don't take the risk and visit Dome instead (if it's open, that is!)
