Was introduced to Flipside by our 14 y/o grandson without hesitation when asked where we could take him out for his birthday. I ordered the Kenny burger and chips ($15 ) and sat outside and enjoyed this beautiful burger with the ingredients of chick peas, sweet potato covered with a medium heat relish, it was beautiful and my wife and grandson all enjoyed there burgers as well. The thickly cut chips were also first class

The service is friendly without being over the top and prompt too!!

Well who worries about ambience too much in a hamburger place, but it is pleasant enough, one side wall appears to be exposed stone work

Overall:
Cant stay away from this place especially if i am in Fremantle, only problem is i want to try some of the other burgers on the menu but cant get past the Kenny burger !!

Best Burger ive had. Gourmet Burgers are the BEST!

i always take out-of-towners here for 'fast food' and its a winner. loving the wembley flipside that has opened up.

Try the chips and homemade aioli sauce is to die for!! YUM

Great efficient. Gets VERY busy but food is usually ready in about 15 mins even when packed.

Fun. light. Alternate dining. Young Crowd. love it

Overall:
Great when you feel like a burger. but not Maccas. New and interesting flavours . Perfect for before a night out or if you are at Mojo's Very Freo.

superb---great buns, quality patties and lots of interesting ingredients. great relish, and the best chips. wish they had pickles though! and malted milkshakes! and maybe pancakes but that's probably going too far...

Service:

bear in mind these are quality burgers and are not in the fast food category. they're cooked to order, so when it's busy you can expect to wait around 15 minutes or so. I sometimes ring up and pre-order, but then you run the risk of it getting soggy if it's ready before you get there.

how rare is an open kitchen in a burger joint? very reassuring. not much seating, just one big communual table. nothing special, decor-wise, but you should really be taking your burger down to port beach for a 5 star view!

Overall:
a big summer favourite. i'm craving it right now. love the fact that it's next to mojo's!

A proper burger! This place had nice burgers and a selection of salads for those who dont feel like the bread. There is also toasted turkish bread and sweet temptations if you prefer.

Not very expensive a burger with salad and chips will set you back around 10 dollars. small salad around 6. It is a little like an up market lunch bar you can order at the counter and they'll bring the food out to you.
4 stars for a burger place

Not that flashy, just a nice casual place for a bit or causal lunch after a walk along the river.

Efficient burger joint which serves healthy burgers. We ordered a classic beef, classic chicken burger and chips to share, and were not disappointed with the size, quality and freshness. Best thick cut chips we've had in a while.

We sat next to a group with 3 kids, they brought out chips early to feed the kids before the burgers were ready - without being asked. Most impressive for a small and busy burger joint.

i could hardly move for a week after eating my QVB burger and some delicious chips, the burgers are huge and there is a great choice of healthy burgers, beef and chicken as well as a couple of veggie options too

next time i went i got the mini-flip burger which is a smaller version of the QVB and added the free range egg and a couple of other bits and that was more than enough to fill me up

the chips are to die for

We dropped in on the weekend & it was already packed by 12pm. I had the mini grilled chicken with added beetroot & it was absolutely delicious. Freshly grilled chicken, salad, crispy bun & soft in the middle. The chips weren't half bad, either!

The servings are massive but still cheap. Great atmosphere - be prepared to wait in line during busy periods. I can't wait to go there again & try something else on the menu!

Had been dying to try Flipside and managed to go a couple of weeks ago for a Saturday lunch. Wow, every burger on the menu, even the vegetarian ones, sounded amazing.

I ordered the "red hot" (beef, red pepper chilli jam, salad and mayo). I asked for cheese but they forgot the cheese but it didn't matter. The burger was huge! I only managed to eat half. So, so tasty, best burger in ages. My friend got the BBQ Bacon and Cheese and he seemed satisfied also. Shared a serve of chips and aioli, both of which were great. The drinks range is limited, but glass bottle Coke is always a winner.

It doesn't look much like a burger joint but don't let that deter you. I'm already hanging for my next visit.
