Overall:
We decided to try this place because it is our local and we'd driven past it a lot.
The decor was pretty crappy (very Asian), but clean and tidy all the same. It was really quiet when we went - only 4 other tables.
We ordered spring rolls and satay chicken and beef for entree and these all came out promptly. The satay was one of the best I've ever had. Good quality meat (not chewy) and a beautiful, thick, spicy sauce. The spring rolls were also good.
For mains we shared satay beef, Mongolian lamb, honey chicken and flaming barbecue chicken, all with steamed rice. All of these were really tasty, but I have to make special mention of the flaming barbecue chicken. It came out wrapped in foil, shaped like a chicken and on fire! This won big points with me - I love novelty food. One of the waitresses came over after a minute or so and put out the flame and opened the foil for us. We all agreed that the food was definitely above average for Chinese.
I think the price was pretty good - $72 for four of us, including corkage.
The service was great. Quick and friendly and chatty too, which is important to me. I like them to feel relaxed and act like fellow humans, rather than wait people.
We'll definitely be heading back here... and ordering the flaming foil chicken again!
