Overall:
Dropped in for Saturday breakfast, after what was a fairly big Friday night in need of something to fill the void that was my stomach.
We were lucky that we were the last breakfast order at 11:30am. We were sat outside in the shade to enjoy the passing activities of the markets.
I decided to go for the Eggs benedict with smoked salmon and asparagus and my dining partner went for the very unexciting New Norcia fruit toast. On reflection it probably was a good idea.
The Eggs benedict was 'nice' but drowned in the hollandaise sauce to the point where I was just trying to scrape it off. The smoked salmon was lovely but there was also loads of it (it's not too often that I would complain about too much salmon but it was just a bit too unbalanced). I ended up giving half to my partner.
The fruit toast, looked like fruit toast.
For drinks I wanted an apple juice but the only sort of juice that they have is freshly squeezed orange juice, unusual. So I went for the English Breakfast. Water was a get your own affair.
Waitstaff didn't have much to do with us, I asked for pepper and it was put on the table.
All in all an ok place for breakfast, maybe lunch and dinner are there specialties. There are a lot better places to go to for breakfast in the area, which I will probably do next time.
