Food:

Expensive. Disappointing in comparison to other Viet Namese Restaurants I've been to.

Meals served with lots of sauce, but very little meat. Even the Goi Cuon had one prawn split in two per serve!

Service:

It was a challenge to explain to my waiter that I required a glass of ice with my can of Soya bean drink! The owner was very sweet, but as with most Asian restaurants today, the level of English literacy and comprehension is very low, making for a disastrous dining experience.

Ambience:

Overlit and ordinary. I sat with a spotlight on my face - couldn't wait to leave.

Overall:
Sadly, I would rather spend my money elsewhere.

The fresh Vietnamese spring rolls were delicious and the largest ones I've ever seen! Very tasty and full of minty leaf and prawny goodness. We also tried the chilli chicken wings (couldn't resist after reading the other reviews) and they were quite nice too, albeit a bit messy - nice touch that it comes with a finger bowl.

For mains, we sampled the chilli pepper squid (my test for all the restaurants we go to!), the chilli pork, sizzling lamb and stir-fried tofu and broccoli. Chilli pepper squid was nice with a crisp batter and just the right amount of pepper and garlic. Beware - the chilli was hotter than expected! All the other dishes was quickly scoffed up so I can safely say that it was a delicious and pleasant meal. Not oily. Tasty!

Very pleasant and relaxed. Efficient without being pushy.

We dined quite early so the restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived but was bordering on full when we left. Not too noisy - seems like a great place for a casual get-together with family or friends. Clean and no huge mirrors like other Vietnamese restaurants around Perth! Love that! Much cosier!

Overall:
Not sure why we've never been before but we'll be going back. Nice, pleasant restaurant with well-priced,tasty meals and good service. Takeaway seems to be the very popular too - non stop the whole time we were there. Well worth a punt.

We had Vietnamese spring rolls and seafood pancake to start. Both were really good, large servings for entrees. For mains we had Saigon Chicken and a house special which was something like Seafood with cashews and snow peas. The chicken had great flavour but I find it such a pain to pick through bones and gristle. The seafood dish was also good with large prawns and perfectly cooked squid. The service was fast, but not especially friendly. I also found it weird that for a Vietnamese restaurant, there was no pho on the menu.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Perth I’ve visited so far. The rice paper roll is big and once I finished the two rolls, my tummy was already half full. Then, the pancake is my favourite and it's a must to order. It is also huge and I think it's too big as an entree size, rather this can be the main course size. The texture of the pancake is just right and tastes really yummy.

As for the main course, we always order the Saigon chicken, because it is the best in Perth. The chicken is so yummy that it is too irresistible not to order every time I go there.

This is your traditional Chinese restaurant. Came here for dinner last night with my partner.

We ordered the rice paper rolls and chicken sweet corn soup for entree. The rice paper rolls were very filling, I ate half of one and then realised that if I kept going I would not be able to fit any of the mains in.

For the mains we had the Shanghai Chicken (very tasty as long as you don't mind picking through bones), Mixed Seafood with Cashews and Snowpeas (had some mystery pieces of seafood in it and the squid was very chewy) and steamed rice.

Didn't get the MSG symptoms I get at some restaurants which is always a good sign and didn't feel stuffed and oily afterwards.

All in all a pleasant experience for a quick meal.
