  • We came here mid-week and ordered the buffet menu. There was a good selection of food, 6 entrees, 6 mains, desserts, etc. Overall we found the food to be luke-warm, to the point where it was almost not enjoyable. The actual Indian dishes did not taste very authentic, they were rather creamy and westernised. The hot vindaloo dish was certainly not very spicy, and the masala and korma was too creamy and sweet. The desserts were very westernised and there was only one actual indian dessert.

  • For the buffet it is definitely worth the price tag if you are after a decent meal. Certainly enjoyable if you don't normally eat Indian food, but to the person who enjoys a good authentic Indian meal, this is not the place.

  • We went for a buffet on sunday night. The selection of food was amazing. There was everything from 3 types of naan, calamari, tandori chicken, lots of different curries, salads, vegetarian dishes to lots of yummy desserts including kheer, gulab jamus, vanilla mouse, icecream and hot drinks. There were both spicy and mild options so would suit anyone. All the food was delicious.

  • My review is going to echo most of the others for this place, so I'll keep it simple.

The food was fresh and delicious. My favourites were the Lamb Korma and the paneer in spinach sauce (I've forgotten the correct name). Pappadums were kept topped up and the naan was hot and lovely. The Rice Pudding and Gulab Jamun (again, not sure about the name) were a nice end to the meal.

The service, although minimal because we had the buffet, was very attentive. Our water jug was never empty and the plates were cleared away very quickly. I'd also like to note that when I called up to say we'd be there in half an hour if there was a table, the lady told me what time the buffet would be closing in case we decided to come a bit later. This thoughtfulness earned big points in my book.

Overall, we had a very relaxed evening and I enjoyed the fact that you can take your time eating and not feel pressured to hurry and get out of the restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable.

Been to lots of good Indian restaurants this is very average.

  • Went for a meal with a friend, food was great, service was good - water jug always filled, dirty plates cleared away without having to ask, not pressured to leave even though we were there for ages.

Was busy however never had to wait too long in the queue, looked like it catered quite to children as well as there were a few in the restaurant. Will definitely be going back as really enjoyed - will even take husbands and children next time!!

  • When went there the food was delicious, the service was absolutely perfect and it stands as my favourite restaurant. Their Vindaloo is hot but not too hot. Their Mango Chicken is so delicious you want some more. The buffet has a variety of foods, but sometimes you have to be aware of the line. But the Tandoori Chicken lets them down.

  • Went to koh-i-noor tonight with a friend for their Saturday night buffet...v nice cant fault this place anywhere, plenty of staff all attentive and helpful. We paid $30.00 and had plenty to eat there was 6 salads 8 entrees,6 meat dishes, 2 rice and plenty of naan breads, 6 vegetable dishes all accompaniments and dessert was traditional Indian and aussie fav's pavlova, mud cake etc plus tea and coffee...pretty good I think! restaurant was very busy but the atmosphere wasn’t rushed at all everyone was relaxed and enjoying themselves, we stayed for 3hrs which is odd, normally we are gone in 2hrs.so all up this restaurant is good value, good food, Good time...will be back.

  • 3 couples had a lovely evening out around New Years. The buffet was absolutely wonderful, varied, delicious, hot was HOT & cold was COLD, the best Indian we ever had! Because of having buffet we didn't have too much to do with the serving staff but they kept our water glasses filled with ice water & our dirty plates cleared away. The only thing that made the evening a bit off was the table we were placed at; just a bit too close to the traffic areas. Would go back again in a split second! Cheers to this great restaurant!!!
