Food:

Excellent pizzas, large portions.

Service:

Their service really sets them apart. They really look after you here without being overbearing. Always friendly and do their best to make your experience a lovely one.

Ambience:

It's cosy and quite loud, but I love their photographs and paintings on the walls.

Overall:
My family and I have been here at least 15 times and not once have we been disappointed. Consistently wonderful food, great service and reasonably priced. One of our favourite restaurants in Perth.

Overall:
what you will find at Lago di como is not only exquisite food but also a friendly atmosphere. My wife and I have been regular customers for the past 4-5 years at least. Frank the Chef is one of the best in Perth, it is a family restaurant and the staff is v v friendly. One of those "italian familia" kind of atmosphere. I would say that Lago di Como and Gershwin have probably the best food in town.

Food

Overall:
I have only ever ordered takeaway from this place and by takeaway standards, for what we pay for- the food is excellent. So keeping in mind this review is for their takeaway--

Try the spaghetti marinara. They are exceptionally generous with the seafood, which has always been fresh and never overcooked- even after our food has been sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up. For $16 I consider this to be an absolute bargain! The calzone is also worth trying, as are the rest of their pizzas, which are made traditional Italian style- thin crust with simple, fresh ingredients. Anything with ricotta is worth trying- whoever they source their cheese from knows their stuff! Crumbly, fresh and very, very tasty.

From what I have seen of the dine-in experience, decor is very casual and service is OK. Takeaway when you can, it works out cheap and just as enjoyable eaten in the comfort of one's own home.

Overall:
Well-established little restaurant that is obviously popular with the locals. It has fairly steep prices for what is basically humble, Italian food. The atmosphere the night we went was muted although every table was full. Overall, I'd say it promises more than it delivers.
