Overall:
I revisited this restaurant after going initially when it opened.
I was conscious that the Vietnamese restaurant was a bit more 'upmarket' that the other ones in Northbridge, so I was prepared for the slightly pricier menu.
The ambience was good, although rather noisy, with extremely professional, well-groomed and dressed, English-speaking staff who worked very hard to deliver the food and clear the tables throughout the evening. It was a Friday night and the restaurant was full at 8.00pm, I'll remember to book in future.
The menu offered a very different style of Vietnamese cuisine which arrived very well-presented with lots of fresh ingredients, virtual forests of salad and sumptuous tastes. I had the diced veal with fried rice - so delicious, I'm still dreaming of it!
The stuffed chicken wings were good, but the 'Goi Cuon" was rather disappointing and my friend who had the prawn mince on sugar cane suggested that the prepared seafood may have been imported and not as fresh as would have been expected.
With 2 bottles of chardonnay, the entire bill for 5 came to $125.00 - amazing!
I will definitely be going back for more of this stylish, inexpensive, well-staffed restaurant again. It's no wonder the restaurant is always well-patronised.
