"To eat well requires a sense of fitness(taste) and an adventurous spirit.
To taste is to experience."

Therefore we propose the choice of either a 5 or 8 course degustation menu. A focus on flavours rich & robust, delicate & fresh, with tasting wines to match as well as a comprehensive wine list available for your choice. A petit menu of 2 or 3 courses is also now available.

Our menu changes at least monthly, depending on fresh produce available. We offer only the finest quality ingredients and very healthy foods. Our sourdough bread is baked daily on premise. Vegetarian options are always available and any special dietary requirements are also catered for. Please note, we do not offer an a'la carte menu.

My wife and I opted for the 5 courses, with wines.
The sesame "welcome dish", was an interesting introduction, a fluff of flavour
The first plate, was a series of flavours designed to be eaten in the presented order, on a base of winter tubers, which we thought showed great creativity, and beautiful presentation.
Next was prawn and pig tails with a nice variation on apple sauce, apple sorbet.
The fish with "dripping" was the most succulent fish I've ever eaten, our waiter explained the "sous vide" method used to cook the fillet kept all the juices in, resulting in the delicate texture.
My wife chose the spatchcock and I the Bolito Misto 2009, a range of slow cooked meats, both excellent.
We both had the Chocolate Veloute, a divine finish.

Service:

Attentive and friendly, our waiter described each course and the wine confidently. Bread and water were always replenished.

Ambience:

A very clean feeling to the room, allowing focus on the food, just a shame there weren't more diners in there to appreciate the magnificent food

Overall:
We were told the menu changes each month, so we are both keen to discover what other interesting ideas the chef will produce next. Presentation of food, and the mix of ingredients were the best we have experienced in Perth. We'll be back soon, with our friends...If you are after impressive food, this is the place.

My wife and I chose the 5 course pre-selected menu. The dishes were excellently prepared and the courses carefully chosen to compliment each other. We brought our own wine - which limited our ability to match wines to various courses. Better to dine in a group to allow a wider range of wines with the separate course Serves were well sized and we left well satisfied. Dish presentation was up there amongst the best my wife and I have experienced.

Service:

Friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The server expressed excellent knowledge of the dishes and the mode of preparation - very helpful (essential) in the degustation style of dining.

Ambience:

Bright and sparkling in split levels. Tasteful and subdued wall paintings - understood to be painted by the multi-talented chef! The bright lighting showed the pristine table setting to good effect.

Overall:
Our first degustation dining experience - but not our last at Little Cloud. A most enjoyable and rewarding dining experience.
