- The menu is a little thin but the options they do have are great. There's only about 5 options for mains so on the sixth trip you're doubling up but that's fine because they are all delicious. My wife is vego so she only has one option for main which is a bit of a problem, but hey, that's the price you pay for being a vego.

- Another great spot on the Claisebrook inlet. Outside dining is best but inside is cosy and warm with a well stocked bar.

- I think the weeknight customers are all gobbled up by the Royal around the corner. I don't know if people don't know that restaurants exist around the corner or if they just want to be where everyone else is, at the Royal. I've loved it here every time and look forward to some new additions on the menu. Go on a Friday or Saturday to see it at it's best.

- Very good. A small selection on the menu, but the choices were quite exotic. Both our meals were excellent on presentation and taste. I had a steak, which was cooked just right. The accompanying sauce was unusual, but very good. My GFs Lamb was very good too.

- We sat outside, facing the lake. A wonderful place to watch the sunset. Lake had some rubbish in it, but hardly the fault of the restaurant. Otherwise, Very good.

- Very impressed, a fun fusion of foods, ideal for the diners that want something a little different. I think I'm a harsh critic, but I had no complaints. We will definitely be back.

We were actually the only table present at this restaurant, which made me a little nervous about the idea from the start, BUT it was a freezing night and most of E. Perth was pretty quiet due to some rather spectacular road works!
Normally this is an al fresco place overlooking the small artificial (but pretty lake) next to the Claisebrook inlet. It is a bit tucked away from the main strip, but generally is pretty busy on weekends. Being the only people there the service was pretty quick and attentive, but relaxed enough to still feel friendly and comfortable. The decor is attractive and it has a friendly feel to it.
We ordered a vegetarian tapas plate for a shared entree, which was a selection of dips (a sweetish pumpkin, an eggplant dish and a yoghurty dip) - all of which were very nice, plus some great potato cakes and a briny herbed haloumi. And the turkish bread was great.
The main dishes were all goodt. I had the chicken bisteeya which is like a crunchy chicken and almond pie, accompanied with fresh orange segments, and a beautiful thin sauce. My friends had the salmon (beautifully cooked and tasty) and a vegetarian dish of red lentils, eggplant and grilled haloumi with a harissa sauce which was probably a bit bland (she did ask for the harissa / chilli sauce on the sided and for it not to be too hot though). All the portions were more than adequate - I couldn't finish mine. We also had some yummy turkish delight and green tea to follow.
Overall I really enjoyed a Little Moorish, I've only given it 3 stars for ambience because it's a little uncomfortable being in such an empty restaurant and I don't think this is typical! It's definitely improved since the last time I was there (about 2 years ago) and well worth a second visit.

We went last Sunday to this restaurant: we start with the vegetarian tapas; excellent to have a taste of Mediterranean... For the main, we had the tarragon beef which was excellent, especially the white wine tarragon sauce, and the bisteya which was not exactly what I was expecting; it was good, but i would not say excellent.
I really recommend it, especially for the outside, next to the river...
