Food:

I went for the curry hut and was extremely satisfied! The curries on offer were: coconut fish curry, peppered beef, nutmeg chicken, dhal and vegetable masala and these were served with rice, pappadum, mango chutney and raita. All this for $25 and I was absolutely stuffed by the end. My favourite was the peppered beef, but the others were delicious too. It was all pretty spicy, but I didn't find this a problem and it didn't inhibit the flavours.

Service:

The service was pretty good. They kept checking on us for drinks and the time it took for our food to arrive was about normal.

Ambience:

I find this place really comfortable. It was a cool night, but we were fine with jumpers. There was a guy playing guitar and the place was lazily buzzing with a few groups of people, so it was quite a good night. I thought it may have been busier due to high season, but it wasn't.

Overall:
My sister and I visited whilst on holiday in May 2007. We didn’t try any of the meals, just the beer for a quiet afternoon drink.

We both thought their Monsoonal Blonde beer was quite good (for us girls anyway haha!). Would like if they could bottle & distribute it so can buy it at the local bottleshop.

Overall:
I don't know about the beers, I didn’t try them, but the food doesn't keep up with their reputation.

Me and my sister had two chicken salads and my mum had a steak both dishes were very good and tasty. Although my dad had the Indian buffet and that was very disappointing! nothing compared to the good Indian food you can find in Perth; way too hot and tasteless!

As dessert I had an ice-chocolate, this was very disappointing as well. It only had an extra tiny ball of icy vanilla ice-cream and lots of blocks of ice!!!!..I have never had an ice chocolate with BOCKS OF ICE in IT!!!!

Service was pretty good and the location is certainly beautiful since you can see the ocean.
