- Look there are muc better places to eat seafood than this. It wasn't the worst I have had in Perth but far from the best. No imagination in the cooking and very bland.

- Dined here Saturday night. Entree chicken satays and the seafood bisque were quite nice. The mains, well -very disappointing! We had all ordered fish (which came with a choice of either rice, chips or potato bake). I, and my fellow diners concluded we would have got better value at a fish and chip shop! Prices ranged from $33 - $38 for these meals and i expected a lot more - even a little bit of salad on the side of the plate rather than a slice of lemon and some fancy carrot would have been slightly more acceptable! (We separately ordered greek salad which was quite nice). The service was efficient which was a plus and the strawberry dacquiri was only $10.75 (which was probably the highlight of my night!) Other diners seemed to be enjoying the seafood sharing plates and the restaurant was busy. For $300 for the four of us i expected a lot more. If i did go again I would try the set menu on offer.

We went for an impromptu dinner last Sunday evening. We were the first in the restaurant and the owner made sure everything was to our liking.
Entree was oysters kilpatrick (I found the oysters a little dry however)and complementary salt and pepper squid which was divine.
Mains my partner ordered the biggest mudcrab available which was cooked to perfection with a black pepper and butter sauce - delicious. I had the butterfly fried prawns which were delicious with the vermicelli.
The ambience of the restaurant was great for what we were after, however a couple of young tourists came in and were quite roudy which was obviously upsetting other diners.
Waitstaff are efficient and the owner is very friendly and service gets 4.5 stars. Definitely going back!!

- Went for a late dinner, around 9pm last Saturday. Nice ambience, a lot of half moon seats which added to the character of the restaurant. They also have a bar and an inner dining room perhaps for functions and if the front part of the restaurant gets full. They have a good list of seafood on the ala carte menu but we chose the set menu which was $39.50 per head for a 3 course meal. (entree, mains and dessert). We had plain bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I chose the prawn salad and my friend chose the lobster bisque. The prawn was very ordinary. I felt there was not enough dressing on it. For mains, I had the barramundi grilled with chips and salad. We also had a Caesar Salad to share. Instead of anchovies, they had salmon on it which I didn't mind. They also have a wide range of drinks however they don't have the premixed ones like Vodka Cruiser or Smirnoffs. The fish was quite average but although it looked like a normal serve, we were actually quite full. They were also a bit slow in taking drinks order considering there was not much costumers at that time. For dessert, we had the profiteroles. They served 2 pcs with cream which was good as we were so full we wouldn't have eaten more than 2 profiteroles. All in all, the food was nice though average, perhaps we will try the ala carte menu next time as they also have a few fish tanks with crayfish etc. The staff were friendly, the orders didn't take ages to be served although I would admit the chips were nice but not as hot. If you also join the frequent diner that they have in their website, they will send you a letter on your birthday offering you a free 3 course menu for free which was really good. I used the letter that was sent to me so all together, with 2 imported beers, lemon lime vodka and a lemon lime bitter, 3 course meals each, a Caesar salad and some bread, we spent around $86.00 which wasn't too bad.
