Food:

2 wines that we first selected off the menu were unavailable and I was very disappointed in my entree - the pumpkin, gorgonzola and capsicum tart - that was microwaved and soggy. My husband's cajun squid was superb, as well as both of our mains - the beef fillet and the lamb loin. We shared the white chocolate tart for dessert and it was divine! Definitely made up for the disappointing entree.

Service:

Service was exceptional however the waiter that we had could barely see us through the hair covering his face - he should have been better groomed.

Ambience:

Quite a busy restaurant with a lot of tables packed in so not really the ideal romantic venue.

My Husband and I dined here on a Tuesday night and didn't book, as it turned out was not necessary that night as they were quiet. We were seated quickly at a window seat and loved the decor and atmosphere immediately.

The service was excellent with prompt and professional attention at all times.

Drinks were fast to arrive (gratefully) and we received our entree of Toasted Turkish bread with Hommus, Chicken Liver Pate and Tomato Kasundi ($8)- simply delicious and generous enough for the both of us!
Without having to wait for long after that had been demolished our mains arrived.

I chose the Crispy Skinned Salmon on Caper and Lemon Risotto Cake, Roast Capsicum and Asparagus with Spinach Cream($30) which is nearly all of my most favourite foods all in one meal - divine again. Unable to fault this one at all, the Salmon was tender and melt in the mouth and the Asparagus perfectly matched with the spinach cream.
My Hubbie went for Lamb Loin with Semi-Sundried Tomato Pesto wrapped in Filo, Mushroom Ragout with Sweet Potato Cumin Mash ($30). This was also a culinary treat with the lamb juicy and mushroom and mash very tasty. Both of our mains were quite generous and we had mistakenly predicted smaller portions so opted to have the Chicken Caesar Salad ($19, in starter menu) as a side. We did our best to finish this one too as it is also a favourite of ours and Sirocco's example did not leave us disappointed.

The wine menu was appealing and after all this gorging on sumptuous delights we were most embarrassingly stuffed and almost had to roll out of the restaurant by the end of the night!

We were so taken with the whole ambiance, service and quality of food that we have repeatedly recommended it to many other family and friends and will be returning this weekend(booking permitting).
The casino was actually an anticlimax to the dining experience and we left Burswood early to groan our contentment on the journey home.

Highly Recommended Weeknight Dining.

Prices more than acceptable considering the high quality of produce and service.

Total price for us was under $100 including one alcoholic drink each.

Total dining experience for parents who NEVER get to go out alone - PRICELESS!!

I'm always dubious about restaurants attached to casinos, but Sirocco was a pleasant reminder that some casino complexes do it better than others.

A very comfortable place to spend several hours of enjoyable conversation and eating, a reasonable range on the menu and a good selection of wines.

Well priced for the quality of food and service.

Modern Australian with Mediterranean influences.

We dined here last night for a friend’s birthday. This is a large Restaurant with funky modern furniture and an all over more contemporary look. The menu is rather limited so deciding on a meal took some time as nothing stood out. The service was great considering the size of the restaurant and our large table; they certainly don't scrimp of the wait staff unlike a lot of restaurants these days. The food was actually rather ordinary, my steak was under cooked and the accompaniments were all rather plain and unimaginative, though apparently their Salmon fillet was cooked to perfection and their gourmet Pizzas fantastic. Don't let this review put you off trying this place out as it was an overall decent experience all reasonably priced....I just wished I ordered the Pizza!

Went as a family of 4 before a show at Burswood. Loved the decor. Greeted and seated quickly and hospitably.

Menu was somewhat lean- I had checked out the menu before we booked and it was a lot more extensive- maybe because of the show? Maybe because it was Sunday?

Kids weren't offered kids menu, we asked for it after seeing what other tables had ordered.

Meal was very good- 2 beef, 1 chilli mussels and pasta and 1 pizza with a side of greens. All enjoyed, especially the greens- they were perfect.

Desserts were delectable, bitter chocolate tart and a banana pudding with caramel sauce.

Service a little slow but friendly.

We asked for the 20% preshow discount to which we were told we couldn't have as our show was at the dome not the theatre- when I said that I had been given that info from the booking person and as a result did not bring my entertainment card, they quickly offered the discount of $35.

Would definitely return.

I visited after seeing in the Entertainment Book and booked ahead on a Friday night, which seemed like a good idea as was quite crowded at 8pm, first offered drinks menu and chose Champagne which was served in chilled glasses, went for Turkish bread and dips to start, the Turkish bread was very tasty and toasted to perfection. The serving of the main mail was timed just right enough to enjoy the starter and drinks and not too long before you start wondering where it is, I chose chicken with minted sauce which I enjoyed; my friend chose a steak which was cooked well. Sitting by the wind-down would probably be recommended for a more romantic evening so would call and book ahead!

Went out with my friend for dinner last Friday night. It wasn't very busy as it was late in the evening. The wait staff were friendly but the guy who took our order seemed inexperienced. We were seated promptly but were not asked for drinks order and food order until we decided to call them. The wait staff didn't know what the soup of the day was. However we settled for Turkish bread and dips for entree (glad we don't mind the dips) they were not even described what they were we had to guess. My friend had soup which was pumpkin with capsicum, potato and pineapple. Weird as it may sound but she said she liked it. For mains, we both had fish. She had salmon with risotto and I had my barramundi. They were both tasty and serving was adequate although it took a little while for the order to arrive considering there was not much people. We didn't have desserts as we were so full. We though had a nice hot Vienna chocolate each. We didn't have wine for that evening but only lemon lime and bitters. The food was well priced and with the entertainment card was a bonus. All in all, I had a pleasant experience that evening.

Very large and busy place. We had a nice table for 2 by the window, good for people watching, and away from the big number of "large group" tables, which were very noisy. Not a place to go for a quiet, romantic meal.

I enjoyed my main meal of fish, but my husband ordered lamb (he wasn't asked how he wanted it cooked) and it came out very well done, which was disappointing.

A lot of the waiting staff were very young and eager to please, which was good to see, but I feel there was a lack of training. An example of this was when my husband ordered a glass of wine, the waiter came back to say that they were out of stock of that particular wine, but the waiter did not offer the wine menu for another choice to be made, and in the end, we didn't call him back, as my husband decided that he didn't really want the wine anyway. But we came in for a rude surprise, when we got home, and found that we had actually been charged for the wine we were told was out of stock ($12 a glass), so it seems that the order was never taken off our bill, when it should have been. Our fault for not checking the bill at the end! We did however use our Entertainment Card, which got us a good discount. Don't think we'll be going back again anytime soon.

Dined at Sirocco with 2 friends around 7:30pm on Sunday night. Was nicely filled with a variety of customers, ranging from couples, to families with children and small social groups catching up. My only disappointment was the time it took for us to be greeted and given our tables (i say this as the place was less than half filled)

Once seated we had a lovely waitress who was friendly and very informative about the night's special (however politely advised that they had run out of the veal and pork sausage entree) - this whole 'running out' of food business is not really good business in my opinion as it falters what would be an awesome menu.

For starters we ordered a dozen oysters (tasting plate size) with oysters served 4 different ways (natural, honey and soy, mango salsa and a tomato salsa) - oysters were nice and plump - not too big but very fresh. Along with this, we also ordered some bread with EVOO and balsamic vinegar (the vinegar was not advertised but was nicely arranged for us after request) - best balsamic with bread i've tasted in awhile!

For mains, we couldn't go past the barramundi fillet (which was a little on the small side) but was excellent nonetheless. My friend ordered the venison with white chocolate spaghetti (recommended by the waitress) and was really good...meat was served medium rare and the white choc sauce was a nice interesting combination. The other main ordered was the veal chops (i didn't have a chance to try this as it was too delicious and was wolfed down by Diner C even before i could ask!)

I think what made this an extra memorable night was the fact that we had an extra friend who joined us mid way through our mains and was promptly served and had his order taken within 5 min of seating. He ordered the pea risotto (a little watered down) but tasted really good. My only complaint was that there was too many whole peas in the dish.

For dessert ( i really dont know how we managed to fit all this in ) we went for the cheese platter and banana butterscotch pudding....(enough said about the pudding - its definitely jenny craig's worst nightmare...delicious according to diner B).

A nice shout out goes to Anthony Nguyen (manager of Sirocco i think) who obliged to our requests of screening the Sri Lanka and West Indies cricket match on the plasma :) i like this place...

I wanted to try this new restaurant, so I went for dinner and I didn't really like the menu.

There wasn't enough choice of food. Even though I liked the ambience and service. The menu did not appeal to me.

I think I was expecting more of Sirocco. I don't think I would go there again.
