My partner and I decided to take a chance on a Saturday afternoon at 2pm for a late lunch. We were very pleasantly surprised firstly by the tone of the telephone conversation and secondly that they were still serving lunch.

I ordered a steak, my partner salmon fettuccine. The steak was simply outstanding. I ordered it rare, and it was cooked to perfection, it melted in my mouth. The fettuccine was fantastic. Huge chunks of salmon, very light creamy sauce.

Serving sizes were just right, enough to satisfy your hunger, but not enough to leave you filling over full.

We were greeted at the door by extremely friendly and helpful staff. We later found out that it was the owner and chef, Clint, who met us. The service from the rest of the staff was surprising for Perth. The staff were happy, courteous, willing to speak with you, not at you.

Marvellous.

Overall one of the best dining experiences I have had, anywhere in Australia. I too have eaten in many places around the world, and now have a new favourite restaurant. We plan to make it a regular dining experience, even looking forward to taking our children with us

I have eaten in all types of restaurants around the world but I have to say that our meal was the worst we have ever been served. The garlic bread was microwaved instead of toasted therefore it was a soggy mass.We ordered Mt Barker Chicken served on what can only be described as a big blob of mashed sweet potato.The chicken was a thick lump and was tough and tasteless,I suspect it was also microwaved.We only ate a small portion of our meal and let our waitperson know of our displeasure to which she replied that she would let chef (I use the term loosely) know. But of course he didn't have the manners to come out of his kitchen and apologize.We arrived at 7.30pm and left very disappointed and $78.00 lighter in my wallet at 8.00pm.

A cafe/restaurant by day and an elegant, intimate dining experience by night. This place is one I highly recommend. The range of food is delicious, going from the Asian, to Italian, to seafood and back again. The wine selection is great, with friendly staff and a manager who is quite willing to offer help and advice in the choosing of your wine, if you’re not quite sure.
