Overall:
Good, fast fish and chips. Every so often I get a grumpy young man behind the counter, which is slightly unpleasant but it's not annoying enough to stop going.
The batter is scrummy and the crunchiest I've had in WA, though a bit on the greasy side. The portions are large and the choice of sides are varied and interesting.
All in all, a good week night take out.
Overall:
great food, great service. Apart from the usual "fish and chips" there is a very good selection of fresh salads available. I find that the standard order of fish and chips is more than enough for one and very good value. For around $8.50, you get 2 pieces of fish and a decent serve of chips.
From ordering to walking out the door takes about 15 mins, but you can always ring your order through.
Overall:
This place has some of the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. The batter is a tad heavy and can be quite greasy but it is full of flavour. Something that I don't find too often with fish and chips unless its beer battered.
The freshness of the fish can vary though generally it is very fresh.
There is a wide variety of options on the menu, including all the regular favourites of dimsim pineapple fritters etc. You can also get fish "bowls", meals such as teriyaki or green curry fish with rice and vegetables. There is also available a variety of fresh gourmet salads that are definitely worth trying.
There is a swish looking sit down area for those wishing to dine in, otherwise a short wait and you can take it home or just eat in the car. Weekdays offers cheaper fish and chips Mon-Thurs, and daily specials such as chilli mussels or teriyaki fish.
The place is kept neat and clean (even the magazines are fairly up to date!), and lacks that horrible greasy fishy smell you get at some suburban fish and chip shops.
