We found ourselves deciding between several dishes which is always a good sign. We chose the chargrilled chorizo and chargrilled field mushrooms with asparagus and red capsicum which were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly, we stopped short of licking the plates. The lamb shanks were closely beaten by the Moussaka with side salad for the mains choice and we were not disappointed. Next time I think we will try the lamb though just to satisfy our difficult decision the first time round. Completely satisfied and left without any want at all, sadly though we were so stuffed we declined any dessert menu - maybe next time!

Service:

Faultless to match the food, enough attention to fullfill any desire but not too much to feel disturbed in conversation or hurried. I never give full stars though, just because I feel there is always room for slight improvement in everything.

Delightful! It was the coldest night for ages with it getting down to below 10 degrees C. and were invited to warm by the fire before being seated at a lovely intimate table in the rear of the establishment. All decor was attractive, fresh and well kept. The greek music was a great finishing touch.

Overall:
We were made to feel welcome, relaxed and are happy to report it was a pure dining pleasure, will definately recommend to others and look forward to returning.

I had the Spanakopita for entree, these were cheesy yummy filo goodness parcels. The boy went for the field mushrooms with goats cheese which he savoured and I tasted - great start.

I went for the Summer Pasta for mains, was very filling, had a fair amount of basil pesto but it matched well, the boys salmon was a bit disappointing as it was cooked solid all the way through and also had a generous amount of basil pesto which he didn't think matched the meal at all.
No room for dessert.

Service:

The original person who seated us (an older male, possibly one of the owners) was a little gruff all other staff after that were lovely, especially the french waiter.

Ambience:

We were seated out the back (didn't realise the restaurant was so big) there was some greek music playing which was nice, however the whole big restaurant was empty except the boy and I and one other couple who we got seated right next too, would probably be better with more people.

Overall:
Was a nice meal, nice service and nice restaurant. All quite nice.

I love this restaurant! I have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed. My husband and I had chorizo to share for entree which was well cooked and very tasty.

For mains, we had lamb shanks with mash - delicious!!! My husband had the steak special with pepper sauce which was also very nice. I have been here previously and had the seafood pot for mains and it is fantastic.

This restaurant is brilliant! Its decor is lovely and spacious, the lighting is set exactly perfect especially for a romantic dinner. The food tasted great and the service was immaculate. Definitely going back well worth the price. The only problem I found was that I was too full as I was leaving, the servings are good.

Haven't been to The Greek in years, but I'm glad that a friend and I got dinner there tonight.

We sat at a nice outside table, which unlike many places was actually stable and well attended to. As with many Norby restaurants, there's a slightly eccentric old man hovering about being amiable - some people don't like that kind of thing, but he doesn't overdo it.

Service was fast and friendly, and we were happy to see that the wait-people didn't even need to write our orders down, committing them to memory instead - helped keep the casual atmosphere. Water glasses were kept topped up most of the time - things got a bit dry for a while when they got busier though.

We came at the start of a busy period, but food came out fast enough - lemon lime and bitters and garlic bread (both very nice) came out quickly, and meals came out after a not-too-unreasonable delay - just enough to make you start to wonder. :)

The food was great. I had a 400g t-bone steak with vegies and a creamy mushroom sauce (which was divine). The vegies were great and the steak was delicious - only minor gripe was that I asked for it medium rare, and while most of it was, some parts were medium and others were rare - but it's hard to cook a large t-bone evenly. My friend had a vegie stack, with some very nice goat cheese on top.

We managed to fit in some dessert, and although they were both delicious and as much as we could eat, the cheesecake was perhaps a bit small for $8.50...

Prices are on the expensive side (considering the bevy of cheaper places in the vicinity), but well worth it in my opinion. Great place for a meal.

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday night with a large group and had a really lovely evening. The service was top notch, and the food was brilliant. It just goes to show you don't have to be a five star restaurant to offer a wonderful dining experience.

This probably wasn't a restaraunt I would normally have thought of to dine at but I am glad to have enjoyed your hospitality. Thankyou.
