Didn't stay for a meal were actually just popping in for drinks pre-movie. However ended up having some nibbles namely garlic bread which was fairly ordinary, coffee tea and also cool drinks.

My friend ordered black coffee 1/2 strength with water on the side and ended up with strong coffee minus water! My tea was fine (could have been hotter) but the fruit drink/smoothie I had later tasted nothing like what it was supposed to!

Service:

Slow! The waitress was pleasant enough but very slow to return when we ordered the drinks and upon ordering the 2nd round of cold drinks took forever till we caught her eye and reminded her!I am sure she just forgot about us.

Ambience:

Not especially busy but was pleasant enough.

Overall:
Service very slow but it wasnt a busy night I just think maybe because we were not big spenders and only two of us we were forgotten about. One water glass was dirty and one had a chip in it.The price at the end was a bit high for just drinks and bread. We both filled in our details and received reduced price meal for our birthdays but we never went back.I think staff forget the 'little' customers are likely to come back for bigger things if treated well the 1st time so dont overlook them!

BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD! Me and my sister had garlic bread to share, what we got was very salty toasted bread. But we ate it, ordered drinks and hoped the mains would be better. The pizza was ok, it reminded me very much of the M'cains frozen pizzas I ate as a kid... not the fresh italian pizza we were expecting. Then our tortelini with a mushroom cream sauce came out... It was terrible, terrible, terrible. It tasted like big balls of raw flour, and a very watery completely under seasoned no taste sauce. My sister also complained to me that her water glass smelled like "dirty dishwasher" which now makes me laugh, but then....grrrr.

Service:

Food arrived quickly & the service was good until we were asked how our meals were. After I explained that the tortellini maybe wasnt cooked right because it tasted like flour, she rudely told us that's how it is meant to be & took it away. We were stared at rudely by the "chefs" & the wait staff.

It's a great location and it is very welcoming.

Overall:
After reading all the positive reviews we thought we would try it since it is so close to the movies. I cant even believe how bad it really was...I am shocked, but then I noticed the reviews on here are from 2007/2008... From what I've experienced 2009 is not their year! The food is way overpriced for the poor quality and what topped it off was paying the bill at the end and a cockroach scurried past the cash register! Overall we had a terrible experience and will not be returning...ever.

The waitstaff are lovely and are always checking that things are OK and are willing to go out of their way to help you with a particular food request.

Lovely restaurant - can be a bit loud in peak periods but a great set up - you are never squished up next to others.

Overall:
I love Topolinis it is always a great experience - I have never had a problem before with their food or staff. Would have to be my favourite restaurant!

Went here for dinner on a Tuesday night. Wasn't too busy. I had the fettuccine with squid fish prawns and snow peas in a wine sauce. Was so delicious. I don't usually like ordering pasta meals because i can just make them at home but this one was so delicious. My hubby had T bone steak. He said his was cooked perfectly. Garlic bread was yummy. The service was really good. We were well looked after and felt welcome. We used our entertainment voucher so worked out well. Also my meal was only an entree size and I didn't even finish it. We would both definitely go back again - i cant wait to try their pizza.

Dropped in here for lunch on friday with a few friends, i havent been here for years and im glad i gave it a go.

Restaurant is cosy and spacious and we were seated promptly on arrival.

On fridays they have a pasta special and we were informed that all pastas were $15 so i ordered the fettuccine con gamberi as well as some garlic bread to share, my friends all ordered different pastas and all were very happy with the portion sizes plus the taste of selected dishes.

My fettuccine was lovely and the prawns were plump and plentiful.

The waitress was great and keep drinks topped up and all accompaniments to the pasta.
At the end of the meal it was about $20 each, i think this was very good value, im going back as soon as i can!

I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago. It's a nice little family restaurant with easy access to the cinemas (in the same complex). My boyfriend (who is a chef) thinks they make nice or average Italian that's okay for the price. He liked his spaghetti marinara. My cannelloni was nice, but frankly it tasted exactly the same as the homemade cannelloni we buy from a mini supermarket near us and cost more than double.

My hot chocolate was also not that nice, it was made with way too much chocolate syrup making it overly sweet. I would try this restaurant again because the service was okay and the food not too bad. Certainly nothing to rave about but I think it deserves another try - the pizzas next time perhaps!

I eat at toppolini's quite regularly, the staff are always friendly and they make excellent cocktails which is always a bonus! The food never disappoints, they make great Chicken Parmigana which is one of my favourite foods so it must be good to impress me! The Penne pasta with Chicken Broccoli and Chilli is absolutely delicious, I order this quite often! A friend I went with last night ordered the Scallopini Masala which I tried and was also fantastic, so haven't ever been unhappy with anything we've ordered there so far! Not the fastest service around, but if your off to see a movie and you let them know they will make sure your looked after quickly so that you’re not running late, you can't ask for more than that!

After a poor choice movie experience we decided to treat ourselves and popped into Topolini's Caffe for dinner. We tried the garlic bread and mussels for starters then we helped ourselves to a delicious pizza and a serve of salmon. We thought the place, food, pricing and service was actually quite good and had nothing to whine about at all... except the movie!

Thanks guys

As a frequent visitor I can provide a detailed review. Topolinis has a nice warm feel to the place. Sure their might not be a great view over the ocean, but still a nice ambience.

Food, I particularly love the calamari. We get the main size served as a entree and share it. Mains are all well portioned, and their wood fired pizzas aren’t to be missed.

Always a large variety of deserts and great coffee, I would recommend any day, but try it yourself to make your own mind up....

My main thought about Topolini's Caffe in Warwick is that everything was fine. Six of us dined here and no one was unhappy with their meals though no one raved about them either. The main-size serve of fried calimari was huge, the garlic bread was quite nice, and the dish I had -- salmon with a cream sauce and king prawns -- was, well, fine. It was cooked just a touch more than I like, but I have to remember to only order salmon at fine dining establishments as I am fairly picky about it. The sauce was pleasant, the prawns were, you guessed it, fine, and the potatos and salad that came with it were also fine.

Two friends had the chicken breast with avocado and said they liked it but probably wouldn't get it again. And the carrot cake I had for dessert was a little dry but not bad. The coffee was good, and with two people having Entertainment Book vouchers we got $60 taken off the bill which made it quite a reasonably priced evening.

In typical cafe fashion it was a fairly noisy venue, but service was good even though it took the meals a long time to arrive.
