The menu was quite restricted and ordinary. Prices were on the higher side of average. My friend chose the fish and chips ($20). She wanted her fish grilled instead of deep fried and the waiter's hesitation before answering 'fine' made me think that their fish comes frozen and pre-battered (I imagined they would pick the batter off and grill it for her). I chose the duck ravioli ($24). The fish came out looking more like grilled eggplant than fish (along with some cold chips, average salad and packets[!] of tartar sauce) and my friend reported the fish as "very dry". My duck ravioli came out looking great, but the pasta was undercooked, the sauce was very salty (because of so many olives) and contained raw pieces of capsicum! Not worth $24.
Our waiter seated us very quickly out the back of the restaurant (we had no choice over where to sit). He read us the menu before giving it to us (a bit odd I thought), but was very efficient in service. However, a little too eager to take our plates before we were actually finished.
We were seated out the back in a courtyard near crates and the bins (I imagined a better view considering this place is called valley view!) and the music was a bit loud and was tuned to one of those commercial radio stations with ads.
Overall:
Probably not worth a visit if you're not part of a function (as they are the one's that get the 'valley view' out front).
