I went to Wino's for dinner a few nights ago and was quite impressed. I had the beef which was cooked perfectly medium as I wanted it and my girlfriend had the chicken which tasted the way chicken should taste and was served on the bone. Didn't give it a 5 as the servings are a tad small and I find I am still hungry even after desert. The wine list is very good and you can perfectly match a wine to your dinner. Not a huge selection by the glass though.
Friendy service and not at all intrusive. The problem I had was that some of the staff aren't very knowledgeable about the food or wine as they seem to employ a lot of backpackers with limited knowledge. When your paying that much money for a meal you would expect the staff to be a little brighter.
Nice and quiet and the fireplace sets it off well. I like the fact that this place has quality food yet it's very comfortable and not snobby or too dressy. Nice, casual and great food. The way a restaurant should be.
Overall:
Very good and probably my favourite restaurant in Margaret River. I have dined here 3 times now and each time has been a pleasure. If they could educate their staff a little better and make the meals slightly larger/richer it would be a perfect 10/10 restaurant.
Great Food, Blackboard Menu, Local Produce
Good, not intrusive
WONDERFUL, Winter fireplace, Summer on the terrace
Overall:
Love it. ( Bit Pricey ) But a must visit place when in Margs

We had a wonderful meal at Winos last week to finish our holiday in Margaret River and it really was the cherry on the cake. The food was so tasty and the dishes so imaginative. We were disappointed that the specials ran out so fast - we missed out - but other than that I cannot fault the evening. The wine selection and guidance by the staff was great. I have already advised my parents to visit when they next go down and would tell anyone else that a meal out at Winos is an unmissable experience.

We were not terribly impressed with Winos. The lunch menu was quite limited, and service was very slow even though it was not at all busy. Another time we went for dinner, the food was lovely, however we waited 1 hour for our entrees which came out separately (for my husband and myself). Then we were still halfway through our entrees when the mains showed up (one meal was incorrect). They took the mains back into the kitchen. We then ended up with our mains approximately 15 minutes later, and they were cold!

Absolutely Fantastic. A wonderful wine list, enticing menu and top staff and service make this restaurant one of the best I’ve dined in for a long time.
We had chorizo sausage served on a rocket salad for entree which was indescribably good... I love rocket and my boyfriend loves chorizo so we were very happy! I ordered the steak which was cooked to perfection and Scott ordered the chicken which was served with the most wonderful Danish feta, so soft and creamy. Its great to have meals made with love and care!
It is in the entertainment book and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is going to be anywhere near Margaret River.
Overall:
We had a quick pit stop at Wino’s for a late lunch. We ended up getting a couple of wood fire pizzas which went down a treat. The rest of the menu looked interesting enough but we were only interested in pizza and beer.
I like Wino’s location and how it overlooks the main drag at Margaret River, the interior décor is pleasant. The service was really snappy and friendly.
