A great change from the microwaved mush one usually associates with 'Mexican' food. Went on a cold, winter night, place was not busy, few local families with young kids having dinner. Very friendly waitress. For entree we had chili con queso dip with blue corn chips - divine! And an amazingly tasty warm chorizo and olive dish cooked in balsamic. We did cheat and dip the olives & chorizo into the con queso towards the end when the chips ran out!! Naughty but nice.
For mains, I wanted to try something really different, so took the waitresses recommendation and had the maize/pork soup thing. Certainly different, very tasty& light, but was expecting a bit more meat. Partner had chimichanga which was substantial and tasted lovely.

Really helpful waitress, but the older Indian guy lurking in the background seems a little out of place?

Small and cosy, open kitchen. Tables are a bit too close to each other, particularly if you are a couple trying to have a bit of an evening. Love the movie posters on the walls.

We jokingly said we would deduct points for any tacky Mexicana-type decorations, but didnt spot any - but then! Hidden in the back room a sombrero! (original leather and 30 yrs old so dont think it counts). Great place to try something different, extensive menu - was hard to make decision, so will be back to try something else!
